Completely renovated in January 2020, the apartment is unusually large and comfortable for being in a mountain resort. Three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and living area with fireplace. Large balcony with stunning views of the Val di Sole all the way to the Dolomites, and of the Busazza, Freshfield and Presena glaciers. Private parking. In the woods, surrounded by nature but just five minutes from all the shops and services.

Brilliant!

We were three pairs of parent-teen child. This has been one of the best places we ever stayed in! Beautiful location, a mere 7 minutes driving from the slopes, everything feels new, very convenient beds, fully equipped with everything needed for a cozy stay. The highlight of this cabin is the host. Augusto is simply a wonderful human being. He greeted us there when we arrived towards midnight, and came back to see us off when we left around midnight. Took care of every issue we had, including the snowfall that had us strained in the cabin one morning. We had a great vacation!

Confortable appartement au calme hors de la station

L'appartement est vraiment bien,confortable et bien équipé pour 5 personnes. Il dispose d'un parking privé bien pratique.Il est assez isolé et il ne se trouve pas dans la station. Il faut une voiture pour rejoindre le front de neige ( environ 2,5km) et les commerces. Pas de difficultés pour se garer gratuitement dans la station.Le propriétaire est aimable, fiable et disponible pour parer au plus vite à nos difficultés.

Luogo fantastico per soggiornare con la famiglia

La struttura è molto bella, situata a circa 1800 metri vicino al bosco, a 4km dal passo del Tonale. Il luogo è tranquillo adatto per la famiglia con un giardino dove i bambini possono giocare in sicurezza. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili ad ogni necessità.

Mia figlia ha pianto quando abbiamo dovuto partire per tornare a casa. Augusto e moglie sono due persone uniche, gentilissime, che ti fanno sentire bene fin dal primo istante. La casa dell'acqua poi, un vero incanto in un luogo magico che ci ha permesso di ritrovare la serenità anche in un momento come questo. La casa dell'aqua è immersa nel verde e gode di una vista su un panorama unico; poco distante da passo del Tonale e da altre località turistiche. L'appartamento è spazioso e luminoso dotato di tutto il necessario. La famiglia Pellegrini è accogliente e disponibile. I was born in Milan, and I studied in the United States. My job as a businessman brought me to work and live in the United States, in Switzerland, and in the UK. Now back in Italy, I live in our family home in Chiari, between Milan and Brescia near beautiful Lake Iseo and the Franciacorta wine region.

Why they chose this property

My family comes to the Ponte di Legno-Tonale resort area since the 1800's. My father built Casa dell'Aqua in 1986, and left it to me and my sister. In 2018, I took over the whole house as I am strongly attached to it and wished to fully renovate it.

What makes this property unique

Since we have a family attachment to the area, it was only natural to renovate the house in order to preserve it and to enhance its value for the next generations. Few other places on this earth let me unwind and relax as Casa dell'Aqua. The luscious alpine forest all around, the majestic mountains right in front of the house, the emerald green Val di Sole below, and the picture perfect view in the distance of the Sasslong in the Dolomites' Val Gardena make it a unique place where to hang your hat for while. The world class skiing in the winter, and the mountain climbing and rafting possibilities the area offers in the summer are just the icing on the cake.
