This dog-friendly vacation home is the perfect choice for your next getaway to the Oregon Coast. Guests are able to easily walk to the beach. The has great views from inside and also out on the spacious front deck. Inside you will find everything to make you comfortable when you come back from your adventures at the beach or along the coast, like a flatscreen TV and internet.

What's nearby:
Oceanside is a short walk from the house where you will find a couple of eating options, along with access to the beach. Netarts is two-and-a-half miles to the south where you will find even more beach to explore. Check out the beach at Happy Camp (just over two miles out) where you can do a bit of crabbing right from the shore. Tillamook is nine miles to the east where guests can will find major shopping, necessities, and more.

Great cozy spot in Oceanside

Great little spot in Oceanside. The kids raved that the beds were comfortable. The house was cute but had the bare minimum enough kitchen basics to get by with our family. House is pet friendly and smelled like dogs had been in it. It was perfect for 2 nights.

Outstanding

This little beach cottage is exactly what you want on the Oregon coast in the fall and winter. The large windows give you a great view while still feeling warm and comfortable. It takes five minutes to walk to the beach or one of the restaurants down the road. A perfect spot to get away and feel rejuvenated. And that shower and heated floors is such a delight!

Peaceful time at the ocean to decompress

We needed to get away, unplug, and just enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Oceanside was perfect. We enjoyed the sun and the storms that rolled in. The unit had internet, so we could stream if we wanted to. Cell service was spotty but we just turned on WiFi calling to make/receive calls and text msgs.The kitchen was cute and accomodating. We did not eat out much as we stopped at a grocery store in Tillamook before arriving in Oceanside. I would stay here again!

Cute little crooked house

The bathroom is wonderful with the two shower heads, and heated floor. Kitchen is pretty outdated, and bedrooms are tiny with no room to store your clothes. Exterior vegetation was growing out of control and taking over the stairs, causing a trip hazard.

Small, cute, with stairs

The house is very cute. It is tiny, and yes could sleep 4, but the sofa’s are very small and to fit 4 adults, it would not fit them comfortably. The space around the master bedroom is about 12 inches on each side and the foot of the bed is a little more. Very limited closet space. The 2 nd bedroom is spacious since they are 2 single beds. The entrance to the house has steps. 25 steps up to the front door, so if you have issues with mobility, it is not recommended. It was just my husband and myself, and it was just a nice fit.

Not a great time

We knew from the prior reviews that this was going to be cozy, but it was definitely far smaller than expected. Like, not even enough room to get changed in a bedroom. Not even enough couch space for a family of 4. Dirty glasses, random holes in walls, cobwebs in the corners. Oh, and the railing that my wife grabbed onto and almost fell because it was loose. We ended up leaving after the first night for a hotel.

Needs a Deep Cleaning!

We have stayed at multiple houses in Oceanside. I have always wanted to stay at this bungalow. When I saw it was available for our trip, I booked it right away. As soon as we entered the house, we noticed the floors and couches were covered in dog and human hair. The dishes had food stuck to it. Had to re wash all the dishes we used out of the cabinet. Don’t look in the crack between the stove and small cabinet. There was so much food, dust, and hair it was disgusting. I received a text message asking if the cleaning met our expectations. They stated they would have the local property manager contact me. Heard nothing. After completing my check out tasks, starting the sheets, I noticed there is a deep cleaning check list that has last completed dates in 2021.

Quaint Bungalow.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach bungalow. It is actually 1 block of the beach, but sitting on the deck you can see and hear the ocean wonderfully. The bungalow is well equipped. It was nicely clean, other than a couple dust bunny's that hope out from underneath the bed. There also was a spider in that room one night, and a centipede(?) the next night, but no big deal. We did not use the back bedroom. The exterior could use a bit of maintenance, but honestly I can't imagine how difficult it is to keep up in a coastal environment. I only mention the 'cons' for the benefit of management. They did not at all interfere with our enjoyment of staying here. The 'pros' far outweigh the cons. Location, cleanliness, decor, privacy, very nicely updated bathroom, and well equipped kitchen made for a perfectly relaxing stay. Also, previous reviews mentioned no place to hang clothes. That has been brilliantly solved. Do not hesitate to book this lovely little bungalow.

Disappointing

This place is not kept up well and is not supplied with much of anything. There wasn’t even salt supplied in the kitchen and for a place with a maximum capacity of four, there should at least be four cereal/soup bowls to accommodate guests. Queen bed was comfortable but the fact that neither room being used as bedrooms have closets or place to store any suitcases or clothes makes it a difficult place for four people to enjoy themselves without feeling super crowded. The deck is in bad need of refinishing and rusty gate left tossed in a corner on the deck was not a nice scene. the nightly rate is higher than it should be for this run down place but you add VacasA fees on top of it and next time I’ll get a nice hotel somewhere for same price or better yet rent from an owner who doesn’t go through an expensive broker. After a decade or more of using VRBO I’m done.

Oceanside near Tillamook

The listing description was spot on including reviews from former renters. Real small inside but very cozy. Would sleep 4 people comfortably at most. Only one bathroom but it seems to have been remodeled recently and is quite nice including heated floor. There is nowhere in the bedrooms to put your suit case etc, so be ready for that. We knew that going in, so we weren’t disappointed. We put our bags on and beside the fireplace which is out of service anyway. View of the ocean and those iconic rocks is slightly obstructed, but not enough to complain about. COMPLAINT— we quit locking the front door whenever we left because the code to get in was glitchy EVERY time and we were standing in the cold rain trying the code and lock WAY too many times. We would get part way into the lengthy code and one of the digits would flash red which meant it wasn’t going to work. Three of us took turns at it with NO satisfaction. Whenever one of us finally got lucky and we got in, we never locked it on the outside again for 2 straight days. Try it with someone still inside to be sure— the deadbolt inside works as it should and there’s no keypad.

Adequate lodgings

The pros. Excellent location to the beach. You can walk there in 2 minutes. The home was very clean upon arrival. The bathroom has been renovated and is a 10. There is a nice deck to watch the sunsets, but you have to look over a row of houses and through the power lines, and around a very big transformer. The dining area has a good view of the ocean and shades to pull if it gets too bright. Wi-Fi worked great. While not deal breakers there are some easy fixes that would help a lot. The bedding is adequate, except the pillows are thick, dense, and not useable. As stated by other users, there is no place to put any clothes. A few places to hang clothes and coats would help. I left my clothes in my duffel and stacked it on the washing machine. The kitchen supplies are odd. There must be 30 different kinds of knives, but only silverware for 3, and no vegetable peeler. There are two complete sets of pots pans and lids and no mixing bowls. If you’re serious about cooking, you should bring a few of your favorite things. The thing that made me crazy was many of the kitchen cabinets didn’t latch and hung open. The kitchen is very narrow and two people have a hard time passing between the sink and fridge and with the cabinets hanging open, some knees will get banged. It would be an easy fix to add some magnetic latches. Something to know is the stairs are steep from street to house and you wouldn’t want to go up and down too often if you have any orthopedic issues. All in all we had a great time as the weather was perfect.

Oceanside is a wonderful little town. This is an older cabin that has been updated but is in need of some additional work and some enhanced amenities. We loved the view and the light and airy windows. The beds were adequate, although the sheet were a little rough. Kitchen is galley style and hard to have 2 cooks at once! Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen and a very good stove made cooking pretty easy. Fireplace is not in service. There were only a few cups, no small glasses, no wine glasses. Nice front deck, but the few deck chairs are old and a bit rusted, and the small table is broken. Side deck looks unsafe so we stayed off of it. If the owners could make some repairs and add a few more amenities we could stay again.

Light, Bright and Beautiful Ocean Views!

This older beach home has large living room windows that were functioning and had screens and shades. We had amazing views of the Three Arch Rocks and a gorgeous sunset! It’s a short distance to the beach; just about a couple of blocks away. TV and WiFi worked fine and the bathroom looked updated. The main bedroom was very tight but it was a comfortable bed. We didn’t cook so can’t speak to the provision of pots and pans. However, bring your own salt and pepper. The place was clean and cozy. We would stay again! Protip for dinner delivery- one of the apps that has a name of a ride service will allow delivery from Tillamook. We had a surprisingly delicious meal from Denny’s that arrived hot!

This house is perfect for a weekend get away, to be close to the ocean. It’s a very cute property and just needs some love it’s old and you can definitely tell
