About the host
Hosted by Julie Butters

I was a teacher in the UK running a special needs department. Here in France I live with my husband and have twin daughters, who are home with us occasionally on holiday. Andy my husband renovates property in the area and the girls are in France in Dijon and Marseille. We have adopted a rescue puppy called Luna, she is 2 years old.
Why they chose this property
We chose this run down old farm because of its flexibility and the fantasatic views it has over the Viaur Gorge. The layout works perfectly for us allowing us privacy when needed as well as privacy for the guests - but where we can socialise too when we wish to. We love the area as we believe it gives a true reflection of rural France .
What makes this property unique
Peace, calm, tranquility - but then a peek into rural french life which comes alive in the summer months - an area steeped in culture, tradition and folklore.
