About this property

Peaceful Countryside Tiny House

This tiny house is only 15 minutes from the square in Mountain View. The queen bed has extra storage. You get the best of both worlds, beautiful peaceful country setting and town with all of the events close by. You will enjoy going to bed and hearing the crickets and frogs and waking up hearing the early morning birds.

This has a washer and dryer inside, as you can see in the pictures.

There is no cell service, but there is Wifi. If your smart phone has wifi calling capabilities then you can turn that setting on and make and receive calls and texts as if you had normal cell service. My family is closeby, but there is a privacy fence in between this house and our house. You will feel secluded even with me nearby.

There is a grill and fireplace outside for you to enjoy, and you are welcome to pitch a tent even next to the house and have an extra guest or two (no more than two extra guests). Pets are welcome.

There is everything you need in the house for an enjoyable stay. You don’t need to bring any cookware or utensils, I provide everything, even grilling utensils. There is a keurig machine and regular coffee maker. I don’t provide shampoo or other body care products, so be sure to bring those. I do provide keurig coffee products, and I figured it was a fair exchange for the body care products.

We did not stay at the property. The reason was that the drive was so steep that my tires slipped as we were trying to leave to get food. Rain was forecast and I do believe that my car would have not made it up the drive. Also thought the property was secluded and there was a house just across the drive. If it were not for the drive way we would have stayed there.

Absolutely beautiful cabin!

It was a very clean and well kept cabin. The nature outside was beautiful! Listening the crickets chirp at night and just talking what my absolute favorite. My best friend and I had an amazing time getting away from the world for a while and visiting some family.

Staying here was nice, it was very quiet and secluded! Beside the steep hill you have to go down to get to the place everything was super nice! Everything you need, dishes, cups, pots and pans, silverware, etc. Definitely check out Blanchard recreational area and espresso coffee and ice cream! Cute little getaway for you and your boo ;)

Great getaway

Lovely location in the middle of nowhere. Kitchen has everything you could need. There's a charcoal grill, next time I have to remember to bring charcoal. The fire pit had wood ready to go. Although she lives next door owner was only there one night so we had the lot pretty much to ourselves the whole time. Would love a book of your/town's favorite restaurants, things recommended nearby... we just used the wifi to look up nearby places.
