Luxury and chickens

Fantastic villa. Easy walk to Sissi and the beach. We swam in the pool, picked our own vegetables and herbs, and collected eggs daily from the chickens. A wonderful stay for our family.

Wonderful Week in Crete !

Lovely house, pool and garden, with everything we needed. Peaceful out of town setting, with a lovely view of the surrounding area and the sea. Very relaxing. Close to amenities and beaches. A few minor problems with the house during our stay, which were solved very quickly for us, by our superb host, Audrey.

Our stay at Villa Aquarius was fantastic, the villa is amazing and spacious with an amazing outdoor area. The children adored collecting eggs daily from the chicken and picking the fruit and veg from the vegetable plot.Audrey was an amazing host who was always contactable.Sissi is a beautiful village with lovely shops restaurants and bakeries.I would recommend a car as the elder family members couldnt manage the walk into town which was about a 15 minute walk with a little incline. Highly recommend

Best villa ever!!

This villa was just amazing. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and all had access to lovely modern bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped, maybe a few more T-towels. However the best part was the outside area. Just stunning with a wonderful view of the sea and beautiful sunsets. The bar area by the pool was like a small outside kitchen with a bbq and work surfaces, fridge and cupboard space. The pool was a good size and plenty of beds and umbrellas. The gardens provided us with a selection of fresh vegetables and the lovely chickens, fresh eggs everyday. Audrey was always available for advice and recommendations. The beautiful town of Sissi was about a 20 minute walk where there was a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Beach was about 10 mins away. Just a fabulous week.

Une villa 5 étoiles.

Nous étions 13. Dernière semaine d’octobre. Adultes et enfants. La maison est parfaite pour les familles. Très conviviale et de bonne taille. Pas de voisinage immédiat. Une jolie vue mer. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Toutes climatisées. La piscine était chauffée à notre arrivée. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Le coin barbecue est très pratique. Un poulailler à 200 mètres nous permettait d’avoir des œufs frais tous les jours. L’accueil de l’équipe est au top. Un séjour idéal dans des conditions idéales.

Eine unvergessliche Woche

Wir haben als zwölfköpfige Familie, Grosseltern, zwei Söhne mit Schwiegertöchtern, zwei Enkelinnen und vier Enkeln von 14 - 21 jährig, die Villa Aquarius sehr genossen. Es stimmte alles und es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Dass nicht alle Zimmer über eine eigene Nasszelle verfügten und die drei schön eingerichteten Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss keine Aussicht bieten, störte nicht, da sie nur zum Schlaften benutzt wurden. Besondere Freude hatten wir an der grossen Terrasse , die windgeschützt ist, und auf der wir selbst im Oktober vom Morgenessen bis zum Schlummertrunk um Mitternacht sitzen und liegen, essen , schwatzen und lesen konnten. Gleich darunter konnte sich die Jugend stundenlang im grossen Pool und im weitläufigen Umschwung mit Gemüsegarten und Hühnerhof vergnügen. Die Villa liegt in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mit Meerblick und vielen Möglichkeiten auch für leidenschftliche Wanderer und Kulturinteressierte. Es war für uns eine unvergessliche Woche.

Amazing villa

Audrey was at the villa to meet us and friendly and very helpful - which was a great start to our holiday she even booked our transfer transport from the airport and gave us information about the villa and the local area - there is an informative folder about places to go and places to eat as well as other useful information. The villa was very clean and very comfortable - the children loved the pool and used it every day as did the adults 😎. The bathrooms both en-suite and family bathrooms were big having baths and walk-in showers. The bedrooms were very comfortable with a safe in each room. There is a bar area by the pool with an outdoor kitchen and bbq which was great and there was also a fire pit which was lovely. There was access to a vegetable garden and chickens which the children enjoyed seeing. A 10 minute walk to Sisi and slightly closer a beach/ cafe. Sisi has many bars, restaurants and gift shops as well as supermarkets ( although the best supermarket is in Malia) so transport is a plus which we had. Overall we would all revisit this villa in the future and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Audrey and her team were very helpful and professional.

Luxuriöse Unterkunft - geeignet für Großfamilien

Wir waren für eine Woche Gäste in der Villa Aquarius und würden sofort wieder kommen! Mit 8 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern (3 bis 8 Jahre) war die Unterkunft eine exzellente Wahl. Der beheizte Pool, der Gemüse- und Kräutergarten und die Hühner, die uns mit Eiern zum Frühstück versorgten, haben insbesondere bei den Kindern für große Freude gesorgt. Ein Bade-Strand ist fußläufig (15 Min) erreichbar. In die andere Richtung liegt eine schöne Taverne - ebenfalls zu Fuss zu erreichen. Audrey und das Team (Pool Service, Reinigungskraft 1 x pro Woche) waren extrem hilfreich und haben den Aufenthalt als unvergessliches Familien Event für uns abgerundet. Vielen Dank!

Perfect !

I celebrated a "big" birthday here and brought the whole family (12 adults). The villa was perfect for this. Very spacious, new, clean, fresh and modern. Every facility available. Better WiFi than in England! All bedrooms of high standard--quite often the 5th or 6th bedroom is not as good (e.g. bunk beds for children) but not here--there were no fights over the rooms as all equally nice and comfortable. The heated pool made a difference and it was nice to collect the eggs from the hens. The service was great. Audrey made it so easy. Nothing too much trouble and such a lovely person ! Met at the airport, guided right to the door of the villa , shown around. Taxis organised for us. All the restaurant suggestions were perfect too. Even if we do not return to this particular villa , will certainly want to get Audrey and her team to arrange the next one for us ! Eva and Maria in the office were great too ! Very grateful !

Super vakantie in een super villa

Wat een geweldige villa, we hebben een top vakantie gehad met onze familie! De villa was precies zoals in de beschrijving staat, daarnaast was de service ook nog eens top en super snel. Als er een kleinigheidje was werd het ook direct opgelost, bedankt voor de goede en vriendelijke service!
