I didn't know it was a basement until after I booked it. But it was a pretty big basement. I did hear noise above me but it really wasn't bad. It was a decent stay for the price. I do wish it was cleaner. The baseboards, around the windows, bathroom, and other places need a lot of cleaning

A great location for exploring Boston and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, very comfortable double bed, lounge with TV and access to Netflix. Hosts provided excellent instructions. We would stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay.

This was a good landing place for our family trip to Boston. The kitchen was very well equipped and the flat was very clean. I was impressed that they set up the pull out sofa before we arrived! Very good location for public transport, and the hosts were very helpful before our stay.

This is a basement apartment below someone’s home where you can clearly hear a lot of what’s going on above you. The location is in need of updates and definitely in need of a deep clean. The shower is not very clean and there is an off putting odor about the apartment. It’s a great location, central to anywhere you may need to go, but the listing should include the fact that it’s a basement apartment.

The location is excellent and in a great neighborhood. The entry is under a deck and dark with a hose and buckets laying around. There is tons of space inside, but every room has bad diy renovations (ex. broken counter around sink covered with silicon caulk, deck screws in trim work, moldy shower corners). The beds and sheets were clean and fresh. The wifi wasn't good enough to stream a movie. Overall with how expensive the Boston area is, it's about the right value for what you pay for it.
