Sun life - Oceanfront-Secluded-beautiful! Pool and hot tub.

Sun life is newly updated throughout: an ocean front duplex with pool/hot tub. This duplex is newly decorated with upscale furnishings. Each side of the duplex sleeps eight easily with a king suite featuring a walk-out deck, king bedroom, queen bedroom and a children’s room with two single beds. Rent one side or double the fun and rent both sides.

There are multiple smart TV’s throughout. Enjoy family time in the open main floor living and dining area that offers a breathtaking ocean view. New stainless appliances, stainless steel cookware, and granite countertops provide a perfect place to prepare your family meals. You can also grill up the main-dish on the park style charcoal grill.

This is a complete luxury vacation package with a pool and hot-tub that is shared between the duplex. You can enjoy hours of relaxation and fun in the sand and sun; take in spectacular sunsets from the different decks or as you stroll the beach. You will thoroughly enjoy your next family get-away here!

Amazing vacation!!

This property was amazing! Beautiful inside and out, owners offered immediate response. Only negative was a lot of dog hair and carpet stains and mirrors were not cleaned. I would suggest new cleaning crew. Other than that, all positive things to say!

Beautiful Location and View

Great location, amazing view. All the convenient stores were very close by. The home is fairly new with open concept, and decorated very nicely. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances. We stayed in the master and the bed was very comfortable. Many homes don't offer king size beds and it is one of our main requirements. This was our first time in Emerald Isle and we were very happy with this area. The deck off of the living is very large and the Adirondack chairs were perfect for relaxing and experiencing the ocean view. Although the home has four bedrooms, the living room area would be quite small for three couples and their children. We were only three, so it was not a problem for us. I knew that the pool and hot tub were shared, but the deck space is shared with the other duplex (only a half partition). It could be a problem if both parties are outside at the same time with their pets. I would prefer something more private, but I noticed many Emerald Isle ocean-front beach homes are duplexes. Luckily for us, the other duplex guests did not have a pet and we were not out on the deck at the same time very often. Although the home has four bedrooms, the living room area would be quite small for three couples and their children. We were only three, so it was not a problem for us. There is no cable TV, only ROKU streaming. My husband was very disappointed that we were unable to watch the championship baseball games in the house unless we paid for a streaming service. The kitchen was beautiful, but was missing some basic items such as a complete set of measuring spoons and a wine/beer bottle opener. There were two potholders, but they had seen better days. There is only a charcoal grill which is not very practical on a windy evening and is also difficult to get to. A couple of recommendations: the refrigerator door could be moved so that it opens from right to left, so that it is easier to retrieve items. The same for the washer/dryer. The doors open opposite of the way they should, making it cumbersome to move laundry from washer to dryer. It would also be great if larger coffee mugs could be provided. All in all for an October stay, we had beautiful weather, the home was very comfortable and you really can't beat the location - such an easy walk right down to the waves.

Escape to beach

After long Covid quarantine escaping to Emerald Isle for 3 weeks was glorious! Sun Life East was perfect place to truly experience a change in venue. Any issues we experienced (which were few) were promptly addressed and rectified. The pool & hot tub right on the beach was well worth the added expense. The home was nicely decorated & outfitted. Emerald Isle community is very low key and relaxing. Only weakness is the lack of restaurants near by - you really need to head to Morehead City or Beaufort of good options.
