This was our fifth year in a row staying at the Shangri-La. We absolutely love the location, huge pool and beachfront access. Don is a great host who is very responsive. If you are looking for a great beach vacation and don’t need all the frills, I highly suggest giving the Shangri-La a try.

I’ve stayed at this location for 4 years with my family, which includes my grandchildren ( 6 & 3 1/2). The house works out great with a nice family room & a nice kitchen. It’s great to have a pool & the ocean right in your backyard. We’ll be returning for a 5th year.

We have been stabeachying here for almost 5 years, 2x a year. LOVE the pool and the VIEWS !!Don has made many improvements this season. The fishing hasn't been much, but we can't complain about Shangri La !! LOVE IT !!

Perfect ocean vacation spot

The house works perfectly for a family vacation at the ocean. A nice deck, a pool in your backyard and the ocean only steps away.

Almost Heaven

Great house, pool and location! The house was very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable too! The location is perfect, close to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. We loved having our coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean and the pool.

Super amazing place. Very nice and spacious. Pool is amazing and the kids love it so much. You can stay out at night swimming and not worry about the water being cold and dark. Super clean and absolutely no sign of roaches like all the others houses do.

We picked the place for the pool and location on the beach. We have stayed here 2x a year for the past 3+ years. Convenient to everything. Haven't had a bad meal anywhere on EI. Fishing wasn't much, but hubby survived. Looking forward to more visits here.

We had a great week sharing the beach experience with old friends. The pool was a great bonus on top of the beautiful beachfront. The house is as described and the owner communicates readily. Some of the beds could stand to be updated.

Great vacation spot!

This is our fourth summer renting this house, and it gets better every year. You can’t beat the location! The pool is fantastic. The house works great for our family with small kids and that there’s not a lot of breakable things in there but it’s very livable. The owner is awesome and easy to communicate with. Truly, you can’t find a better rental house on Emerald Isle!

Annual Girls Beach Trip has a New Location

The condo was clean, spacious, and as presented online. The pool was AMAZING, and the view from the balcony, the condo, and high deck walkover to beach were so close, and beautiful. This was the first time our group stayed in Emerald Isle, but this place was so good, we're already booked for 2024. 350-ish days and counting!
