Unique Chalet – Serre Chevalier, Écrins, Skiing, Mountain Biking & Hiking

Exceptional location in the heart of the mountains



At an altitude of 1,600 metres, at the gateway to the Écrins National Park and in the heart of the Serre Chevalier estate, the chalet Le Fontenil benefits from an exceptional and preserved natural environment.



It is the ideal place to meet up with family or friends, in summer and winter, in an authentic high mountain setting.



The chalet, with an area of approximately 300 m², can accommodate up to 20 people.



In order to best adapt the accommodation to the size of each group, the number of rooms made available varies according to the number of occupants. This organisation explains the additional rate applied per additional person.



The Fontenil has a large professional kitchen, perfectly suited to group stays, equipped with a steam oven, gas hob and a professional dishwasher.



In winter



You can enjoy the mountains almost as soon as you leave the chalet: the Nordic ski slopes and hiking routes are only a few metres away.



Serre Chevalier Alpine Ski Area, starting from Monêtier-les-Bains, is less than 5 km away.



In periods of heavy snowfall, we strongly recommend that you bring suitable snow chains or equipment in your vehicle.



In summer



The Fontenil becomes a real paradise for lovers of the mountains and outdoor activities.



Hiking, mountain biking, cycling and discovering the alpine landscapes: many activities are accessible directly or in the immediate vicinity of the chalet.



This way you can fully enjoy your stay without having to always take the car back.



Services and conditions of stay



The provision of sheets and towels is offered as an option, upon reservation before your arrival.



Stays of 4 days / 3 nights or long weekends can also be offered on request, except July-August and excluding February school holidays.



Le Fontenil is above all a large mountain house where you come to meet, share and enjoy an exceptional environment, summer and winter.

Het huis ligt erg afgelegen, zeker met de enorme sneeuwval zit je er een beetje opgesloten.David is heel behulpzaam en staat voor je klaar als je vragen hebt.De slaapkamers waren top!

Nous conservons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour au Fontenil.La situation du chalet est idéale et l'accueil de David impeccable.A signaler que celui ci habite la maison attenante avec ses 4 chiens (présence discrète et bienveillante, et utile pour l'organisation de vos activités !).La fibre n'est toujours pas arrivée mais cela vous permettra de couper vraiment !Cuisine industrielle (pas toujours parfaitement équipée) et dortoirs se prêtant magnifiquement à l'accueil de grands groupes.Point faible principal : 3 salles de bain de petites taille.Nous conseillons ce logement !

Gîte plein de charme et environnement magique

Nous avons passés un très beau moment dans ce gîte avec nos amis. Le gîte est très agréable à vivre et adapté à un groupe de 20 personnes. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de charme et il est situé dans un environnement absolument magique, un peu isolé avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Merci à David, notre hôte, pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité. Le réseau était un peu faible, ce sera vraiment parfait quand la fibre sera installée (ce qui était je crois prévu prochainement)

Chalet de Fontenil

Abriter a été incapable de nous mettre en contact avec le propriétaire ou le concierge. Nous avons dû nous débrouiller pour les contacter la veille de notre départ. Une fois le contact réalisé, le concierge s’est montré particulièrement aimable et efficace tout le long du séjour.
