About the host
Hosted by Les Guibertes
We are Pascale and Philippe, we have two children, and we are all originally from the South of France. We are attached to nature, we spend much of our time in the mountains, whether hiking on quiet trails, skiing in winter, or practising cross-country skiing — a discovery that quickly became a passion.
Hosting gives us genuine pleasure. We enjoy welcoming guests into our cocoon and meeting people whose paths we might never have crossed otherwise. Each stay is an opportunity to share a space we care about and to create simple, meaningful connections.
We hope you will feel at ease here and experience the same sense of calm and authenticity that the mountains offer us.

Why they chose this property
We have been coming to Serre Chevalier for many years. As teenagers, we would already come here with friends to ski, and the valley has kept a very special place in our lives. We have always loved the Serre Chevalier ski area.
But what drew us more specifically to Les Guibertes is something different: its authenticity, its calm, and its immediate closeness to nature, in both summer and winter. The hamlet has a soul of its own, shaped by its stone houses, its peaceful atmosphere, and the sense of timelessness one feels while walking through its narrow lanes.
Here, the mountains seem closer, the pace slows down, and everyday life regains a simplicity we cherish deeply. It is precisely this serene, authentic atmosphere, so closely tied to the landscape, that led us to choose Les Guibertes.

What makes this property unique
We fully renovated the house and poured our whole heart into it. It reflects who we are: filled with family objects that carry our history and many pieces we have collected over the years.
We took the time to choose every element with care, aiming to create a warm, gentle, and welcoming atmosphere where guests feel at ease as soon as they walk in. This blend of memories, unique pieces, and thoughtful details is what truly makes the house special.
