ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-All linens and towels are provided.
-There is a washer and dryer for your convenience, a single starter pack of laundry soap is provided.
-In case you can't stop at the store before you arrive, a starter pack of toiletries is provided, including two rolls of toilet paper, a hotel sized shampoo, conditioner and bar soap for each bathroom and a roll of papertowels for the kitchen.
-Drip style coffee maker.
-Firewood bundles are available for purchase at all local grocery stores.
-Life slows down in the mountains, this includes the Wifi. Wifi is available, but it is not as fast as you are used to.
-In the mountains you will see bugs and occasional wildlife.
-4 TV's total! TV's are located in the "theatre" room and in the upper level and two main level bedrooms. Guests have access to Roku Guest (multiple free channels or guests can log into their wn streaming services).

Wonderful home away from home!

The cabin was clean and cozy. Check in was super easy. We did not experience any problems during our stay. Location is convenient to commercialized areas, but secluded enough to feel like you are really in the woods. We loved our stay!

Lovely Spring break trip

Great to be away from the downtown Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg chaos but not too far either. Easy access to National park, and had we planned our drive better would have liked to stay longer. Youngest loved the play areas, I loved the covered porch (it was raining when we arrived), overall a nice place.

every little nook of this property was thoughtfully done. we saw 2 beautiful bears from the deck. we loved all of the games and theater room. very quiet, comfortable beds with great linens. thank you for opening your home to our family.

Family vacation

Overall, the property is a nice place to stay and is very close to all the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge amenities. The only downside is there is no bathroom on the 2nd floor where the master bedroom is located. The community has a couple community pools and community amenities.

Excellent location & Amenities & Lots of Bears Sighted!

Very nice property located in a great neighborhood in the mountains. Close to everything. Having access to the community pools were an bonus (one was less then 2 minutes away). We loved sitting on the deck and waiting for the bears to walk by. Property owner was very attentive and helpful. Looking forward to our next stay already.

WONDERFUL GETAWAY!

My Family loved the time in the cabin and the surrounding area. It worked PERFECT for us! Stacey sent us all the information we needed. Check-in was a breeze. A cozy mountain cabin

This layout was great for our group of women. Lots of room to gather together but also lots of room to split up and sleep comfortably. A good refrigerator and dishwasher. We just had a couple of concerns out the driveway access, had our eldest relative come on our trip, this house’s access would have posed a huge obstacle for her mobility. She had to cancel at the last minute so it worked out. But if you’ve got any mobility issues this house would not be a good fit. Stacey, the property manager was very kind and helpful with her communication. We think she’s fantastic!!

Perfect location, great amenities and an awesome owner!

Stacey was so wonderfully communicative and helpful - she made our stay phenomenal and one we wish to repeat soon. We arrived late on a Friday night to find her cleaners hadn't finished their job, and Stacey responded immediately with a perfect solution to save the day! She continued to check in with us throughout the three-day weekend to make sure we had all we needed (and has since switched cleaning companies). The kids LOVED the treehouse and the game room/ movie theater. And that gave the parents/friends a much-needed chance to laugh and relax together on the deck (complete with a bear sighting!) and in the cozy living room. We used the pools at the homeowners' clubhouse (what a view!) and made the easy trip into downtown Gatlinburg for a half-day adventure complete withmini golf and taffy! 🙂 And we were only minutes away from my favorite restaurant for take out - The Best Italian! S'mores at the fire pit, breakfast on the deck, and dinners and crafts at the sizeable dining table... we had all we needed and made truly special memories, thanks to the setting.

The cabin was beautiful and very authentic. Super easy to get to downtown Gatlinburg and Bypass. There is no tv in the living room but that was on me for not paying attention so that was a little strange for us bc we are big tv watchers at night after a long day of hiking and riding in the mountains. Only other issue we had was the internet tv in upstairs bedroom. The internet connection kept dropping. Otherwise this was a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean. Our host was very responsive with any questions or concerns we had. Check in was very easy. The area in which the cabin sat wasn't as secluded as we originally thought but were extremely suprised at how quiet it still was. The teenager in our group loved the basement area and our children loved the treehouse. It was a great weekend.

Perfect Cabin for a GSMNP Adventure!

This cabin is wonderful - we enjoyed every minute there. So many positives: 1. The location is AMAZING for getting to GSMNP quickly, also for getting into Downtown Gatlinburg quickly. We also loved that the cabin wasn't hanging off the side of a cliff (even though some of those have great views) because we have 2 small girls that like to test limits and having a pretty level lot with no crazy drops was helpful for keeping us sane! 2. The cabin is very rustic and makes you feel like you are in a super remote area (which you are!) but it has all the modern conveniences that make it easy to be there (wifi, dishwasher!, great fridge, washer and dryer, theater area, great water pressure and hot water). 3. My 5 year old said she didn't want to go home because her bed was so comfy - and we all agreed that the beds were great - super comfortable and everyone slept well all week. We kept remarking that no one's backs hurt from bad mattresses! 44. The host is super responsive and helpful. The instructions are so easy to follow and check in was a breeze. The communication was great beforehand with information needed and especially communicating the importance of all the bear precautions beforehand. We had a huge black bear walking around the yard one evening which was a highlight but we felt so safe and secure and knew what to do to enjoy seeing it from a safe distance. Great cabin, loved every minute there!

Several years ago I visited Tennessee for the first time while on a business trip and when I left it felt like I was leaving home. The following summer my family and I visited Gatlinburg and fell in love with the Smoky Mountains. We fell in love with Treehouse Lodge and the story behind it. I am honored to host you at Treehouse Lodge and I hope you will love the handcrafted charm as much as I do!

Why they chose this property

The location of this property is FANTASTIC! Located within the national park, the cabin sits in a bit of a valley and is close to everything the area has to offer, just 8 mins to downtown Gatlinburg, close to tons of hiking trails/outdoor activites and only about 15 mins to Pigeon Forge!

What makes this property unique

Treehouse Lodge has an amazing and inspiring story. The original cabin was lost in the Gatlinburg fires of 2016. The family that lived there at the time completely rebuilt this cabin from the ground up, lovingly adding hand crafted details such as real log steps, hand made cabinets, etc. You can read the full story in the guest book at the cabin.
