Absolutely Incredible place to stay. Perfect location for going north to various Redwood Parks, or south to the Ave. of the Giants. The town was quaint and safe and the people were so nice. The house had plenty of room and was so comfortable. The deck was great for evening meals. The hot tub was nice after all-day hikes. Oh and the weather in Aug is awesome (we're from Texas) such a wonderful climate 62 day / 51 night. And lastly the view from the deck of Trinidad Bay, the boats, the marina. THE SUNSET ! ....HEAVEN !

Paradise on the Pacific

Wd had a great stay ar this beautiful home. It was secluded and very well appointed. Sitting in the hot tub looking down at the ocean was awesome. The beds were so comfortable. We went to Trinidad State Beach a few mins away .. great to walk the beach. All in all a great stay.

This was a perfect spot for our family. It was an exceptional way to visit the redwoods. Trinidad is a lovely town with a nice little grocery store, restaurants and beautiful beaches. This was the first time that my kids had visited the ocean. They had so much fun exploring the tide pools. Would stay here again!

Spectacular view overlooking the Ocean .

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean . Easy beach access. We came to visit the Redwoods National Park and this house is close to the South entrance . The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook during your stay . Even though the road was below us, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. We would have loved to stay longer .

Spectacular views

We stayed here with our 3 kids on our Northern California vacation. The house was exactly what we thought it would be from the photos. Very clean, beds were comfortable, great view, hot tub was nice for the boys to play, easy trip into Trinidad to get groceries, a bite to eat, a hike on the head trail or a trip to the beach. Plus its close to some of the most amazing hikes in the Redwood National Forest, and not too far from some of the more built up towns of Eureka and McKinley if you are looking for more things to do.

Amazing home and location

Wow! We have rented a lot of homes, and this is definitely our favorite. It is beautifully decorated, ideally located and the deck is amazing. The house had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect home base to explore the Redwood National Park, Trinidad and all the amazing beaches. But with so much to do in the area, make sure and plan time just to relax at the house with the views, hot tub, hammock and fire pit. We spent mornings watching the fog roll past the trees, listened to the birds, looked out at the boats at Trinidad, dined alfresco, watched the amazing sunsets and stargazed. We will definitely be back!

Very relaxing and quiet and beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay here and even stayed an extra night. Wonderful location, quiet and private. Fairly easy walk downhill to the beach. The closest beach is "clothes optional" being this time of year that wasn't an issue for us but during summer months you may not want to go to the closest beach and choose to walk down a little farther or drive to another part of the beach. We loved the layout of the house nice and roomy. Loved the large deck and hot tub. Really nice hot tub the lights change color at night. Upon arrival though it could have been cleaned much better it was very dusty in the master bedroom, you do expect some dust but this hadn't been dusted in a while. Lots of Cobb webs, and there was greasy kid hand prints on the windows by the front door. In the kitchen behind the stove was not cleaned either. and a light bulb was out over dining area. My husband was tall enough to replace it. So we did spend some time cleaning and sanitizing surfaces which is kind of a bummer because we paid a cleaning fee and after being tired from a long drive. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was really nice. However the other couple who slept in the 3rd room that shares a wall with the kitchen was a very hard bed and very low, it would have been nice to have a mattress topper that can be used for adults that may have to sleep in that room. In the other 2 bedrooms the beds were comfortable. We were able to screen share from our tablets to watch movies in the master bedroom. That tv does not have cable hook up. The Kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed and more. I loved the bathrooms with modern fixtures and just coincidentally my preferred taste and style :) Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We loved Trinidad. I have driven through this little town years ago and have always wanted to stay here and it didn't disappoint. It reminds me of La Jolla CA where I used to live.

The property is in a great location with a great view. We enjoyed the hot tub but were a little disappointed with the deck furniture. Very dirty, cushions/umbrella were ripped and hammock had mold. I understand wear and tear due to weather, but when the selling point is the deck/view these things should be in better shape. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Kitchen had very little spices, etc. for cooking.
