Glad you had a relaxing, though very brief stay. Unique/quirky is exactly what we would expect from staying in a rural barn with a loft bedroom, filled with antiques. Definitely not a modern motel 6!
Rustic, but cozy and comfy. Trees abound and add to the peaceful, quiet beauty. It is a short drive down a couple of country roads to get to food; but, there is a refrigerator and microwave, so it was convenient to stay in and fix meals. Plus, once I got there, I did not want to leave anyway. Very enjoyable stay!
My 17 yr old son and I enjoyed a wonderful time here. Our hosts were gracious. Even helped us get the fire pit going to roast our hotdogs! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. My nephew spent one night and our host was okay with it, we just paid à fee and then all was set. We will definitely stay here each time we go to Texas to visit our family
I needed a weekend for myself to rest and rejuvenate, and this was the perfect place for it! The hosts have provided everything you need to make your stay comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to birds and watching the chickens. Lovely location for a quick getaway!

It was a pleasure to meet & host a 5 star guest like you! Thank you for taking such good care of our Barndominium!
Stayed here 2 nights in early December. The property is beautiful and the house looks just like the pictures! Both mornings were spent watching deer come up from the drawl and mingle around in the back yard. The hosts were awesome as well, went out of their way to assist me with looking for my lost car keys. Much appreciated!!
This is a super cute place to stay, very clean, and easy to find. The aesthetic is really fun.
I will say, the shower head is violent 😅 but that's part of the charm - I just wouldn't say it's a relaxing shower

Interesting! We will check out our shower head perhaps some of the holes are plugged. In the past we have received great reviews on our shower. Thanks for letting us know.
Glad you enjoyed stay!
We loved our peaceful anniversary getaway stay at the lovely and rustic barndominium at Covenant Gardens, in Rhome Texas! The deer frolicked around at sunset and sunrise. The hosts were so helpful, answering any and all questions promptly, and providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The double bed was so comfortable and pillows great with super silky pillow cases. Extra special touches were added, like chocolate on the pillows, water, snacks, coffee, and a great selection of teas. Highly recommend!
During our stay it was just husband and myself, we were looking to get away from work and kids for a little bit and get us closer together and this place is wonderful. We saw deer and baby deer and chickens ...I like chickens so for me it was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. The owners live in the main house but it was like they were not even there, they gave us privacy and it was amazing.
This was my first time using a VRBO service I usually go through Air BNB. I used this property because I couldn't find a Air BNB in the area so I figured I'd give it a shot. I found this property to be described as listed. It was nice meeting the host too. A few things I was disappointed about was the electric pan I found on top of the fridge, it had no plug in cord so I couldn't use it and I was hoping to make some eggs that I had ready. Instead I made some oatmeal which was fine and made up for the eggs. The upstairs bed was ok but for someone who is tall with long legs you won't be able to stretch your legs out too much due to the bed frame at the end but I understand the bedframe is antique and nice to go along with the pattern of the barn. This is also a nice atmosphere for small weddings outside on the property and would recommend it or even just a couples retreat to get away from the city, ect. I'm thankful for the stay overnight and would possibly come back in the future.

We apologize you did not see the electrical cord for the electric skillet. It lives in the drawer with the flatware(forks, knives & spoons), & thereby preserving the finish on the inside of the skillet. We post our phone number around in the Barndominium, to make it easier to contact us in case of questions like this.
Our traditional double/full size bed, is the normal standard measurements.
We decided to get away for our 9 year anniversary and found this beautiful place. The host were very quick to respond to any questions we had and made our stay seamless. Very comfortable and relaxing mantic getaway. Recommend this stay too anyone.
We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at this cozy little cabin and it was absolutely perfect. The property is secluded and so peaceful. The owners stocked with fridge with bagels, muffins, butter, coffee creamer and other condiments. They also provided snacks and DVD’s for our entertainment. The property is well maintained and parking is very close to the rental. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was the cutest little shower I’ve ever seen. We were able to use the fire pit and enjoy a nice evening outside under the huge trees on the property. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting. I highly recommend this property!
