Welcome to our countryside bungalow. Our little retreat is located behind our main house with it's own private parking area. It is tranquil and relaxing with a great location right off of 35W, close to dinning and shopping, and only 10 to 25 minutes to all major attractions in Fort Worth. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and wide open spaces from the back patio, or relax inside in peaceful serenity. Cook up something fun in the brand new kitchen, cozy up on the sofa bed and watch your favorite show on the ROKU, or slip off to sleep in memory foam bliss on the brand new queen memory foam topped bed. The entire place is yours.

For pets, we allow dogs only, no cats, or other animals. Please add your pup to the reservation to see the pet fee for 1 dog. The pet fee is per pet, per night with a maximum of 2 pups. If you have 2, please let us know, as I will have to send a separate charge for the second pup. We also have some house rules for pups, so please reach out to us with any questions.

Lacey has an amazingly comfortable little bungalow, and it was so easy to settle in! Everything I needed was there. I was in town for a week for work, and being able to come back to this every night made my stay perfect. I hope to be back!!!

Great little place! Small but cozy and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the private back yard for morning coffee. There was a problem with the TV, but the owners were very quick to respond to us and had it replaced the next day.

The bungalow was perfect for our visit to Ft. Worth. We were only 14 miles from downtown and the surrounding (very nice) neighborhood had everything we needed close by. Convenient to Cook Children’s

Property was just what we needed for a last minute stay. Our daughter had an early morning procedure the next day at Cook Children’s and the location of the rental was great. I loved that parking was no problem, check in was super easy and communication with Lacey was great as well. Overall a great stay and would totally stay here again!

Comfortable and definitely met our needs

Property was as described, slept great in the bed, perfect couch for dogs and human. Read the fine print on what is provided. It is stocked with most necessities except shampoo, shower gel, and paper towels, but plenty of shopping all around. The cottage is behind the main home but it felt private and also private parking. Backyard fence is in good shape so small pups can’t escape. It backs up to a field and we did hear coyotes during their mating season, it is their land too, be mindful of empty fields. Recommend this rental .

We came down for the St Patrick’s day parade. So being spring it’s still cold in the morning. This was a converted shed that had no heat. I finally found the space heater packed away in the closet when we were ready to leave. This property is also at the end of the driveway by this person’s house. They were having a party out in the yard and being very loud. The bed was just a cheap thin mattress on a basic metal frame and it was not comfortable. We paid 420 for two nights because we had our frenchies with us. It was overpriced and I will not ever stay here again.

Hi there, we are sorry you left such a sad review. I hope it is not because you wanted your pets to stay for free. We are very competitively priced, especially for bringing pets. Our home has never been a shed, it is a small house with a regular heater, as well as a plug in heater for extra cold winter freezes. We would have been more than happy to help you use the heating unit if you had communicated with us. The mattress is a regular queen mattress with an additional 4 inch memory foam topper, everyone has their own preferences with beds, so we are sorry you would choose to describe it dishonestly. We reviewed our camers and did not see anyone in the yard, so we are not sure where the loud guests were coming from. We would have been more than happy to help with any concers if you had reached out to us.

TX Time...

Both Steve and I LOVED our time in Texas...and the bungalow proved to be an ideal location for us to easily get to Risen Nation Church and also enjoy some nice eateries along the way!!! It was set up nicely for pet owners to have easy access to a fenced in yard, altho we did not utilize this....bc we left our dog at home with friends this time. (It was just easier to let our dog stay w/friends because of us attending all the scheduled conference meetings! The little bungalow was perfect for us....it had all we needed and a nearby grocery store provided us with the extra 'snacks' food in the fridge. The hosts always answered our questions promptly and helped us out with whatever question we had! Thank you for a place to stay during our W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L time at the Nasharite Gathering at Risen Nation....and we highly recommend visiting both!

Really Calm and Cozy Experience

Everything about the place was above our expectations considering the price and size of the home. Kitchen really amazing, everything worked perfectly and they provide you with so many plates and silverware. We brought must of our own items for cooking but they were not needed. The a/c unit they have works great and keeps the place at a decent temperature at all times. Bathroom is a 4/5 only because the toilet is soooo tall. And there is no stool to make it more comfortable. The only real downfall is the bed. If you are by yourself it’s great. When you add 2 people in the bed, it’s horrible. You can feel every little movement the other person makes. Kept us both up the first night. The pullout couch is on the other hand, AMAZING. So we slept separate which was no issue at all for us. But for some that might be problematic. Overall it was extremely fun and if I had to stay in Forth Worth again I would highly recommend staying. P.S. there are so many grocery stores around.

We love the charm of this home! We bought this property from the original owner. He actually built the house himself. The guest house was one of the main reasons we wanted it. We love the location, the privacy, and the country feel. It's like a secret little oasis, close to all the cool things you want from the city. So we bought it, and we poured our heat and soul into it. We completely remodeled the kitchen, and bathroom, and added all the things we like to have, like a washer dryer, dish washer, sink disposal, patio, and all the little details that make it feel like home. It is a private little oasis, designed with love.

We love the location! Fort Worth is such a great place, full of history, museums, fun attractions, events, shopping, and great food! You will be close to the Stock Yards, Texas Motor Speedway, Roanoke the unique dinning capital of Texas, Grapevine the Christmas capital of Texas, and all the amenities you could ever need.
