The HOUSE IN THE OLD RAILWAY in Velo D'astico is located in the intersection of the valleys of the Astico and Posina in the middle of the Venetian pre-Alps at 350 meters above sea level and 1 km from the town center on the slopes of Monte Priaforà. Location easy to reach: Venice, Padua, Verona, Trento, Rovereto, Lake Garda, Gardaland ... The location is ideal for those who want to rediscover the charm of nature and outdoor walks. Great for families, the house combines hospitality with the rural world and and 'situated in a central location for the visit and rediscovery of places full of great historical events (Pasubio, Ortigara, Cengio, Zebio ...). It' located along the bike path Rocchette- Piovene Arsiero (old railroad). Both in summer and in winter you can discover the taste of tranquillità. The house was recently renovated and is surrounded by mountains. You can find a very large green space, grazing cows, roosters singing, very suggestive free beach, along the creek "ASTICO" at Pria'Park in the locality 'contra' pria at Arsiero (you can get there in 5 mins by car or with a 30/40 minute walk along the Astico torrent), Sport fishing in Montanina. Splendida vacanza anche per una famiglia numerosa!

Abbiamo soggiornato nella casa di Sergio una settimana con i nostri 5 figli e siamo. Stati benissimo :la casa e ampia e comoda anche per noi che di solito abbiamo difficoltà a trovare spazi adatti.. Immersa nel. Verde ma allo stesso tempo a pochi passi dal. Paese e punto di partenza per escursioni in luoghi splendidi sia dal punto. Di vista naturalistico che storico.. Torneremo sicuramente!

Wir (6 Pers.) hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche in einem sauberen und gut gepflegten Ferienhaus in schöner Lage. Von der Buchungsanfrage bis zur Abreise gab es absolut unkomplizierten und freundlichen Kontakt zum Vermieter, der auch mit seiner zuvorkommenden, wohlwollenden Art erheblich zu diesem gelungenen Urlaub beigetragen hat. Ob Wandern oder Kultur, Spaß im Gardaland oder Bummeln in Venedig, ob auf der Autobahn oder Landstraße - von hier aus haben wir täglich, nach einem ganz entspannten Start am Morgen, etwas Tolles unternommen. Grazie mille, lieber Sergio! ...und immer nette Gäste! Wir kommen gerne mal wieder! Ciao!

Great place to stay, recommended!

wonderful spacious house with great facilities. lovely surrounding area, garden and access and comfortable beds. however it would benefit from enhancing lounge couches, WiFi and TV upgrade. Sergio attended any request and need, very attentive. overall, highly recommended.

Sehr gut

Liegt schön am Rande der Bergen, ruhige lage aber durch die Autobahnanbindung ist man schnell in größeren und schönen Städten. Wie zum Beispiel Vincenza (20 Minuten), Padua (40 Minuten) oder auch Venedig (1 Stunde). Waren auch am Meer Lido di Jessolo, das 1 Stunde und 15Minuten entfernt ist. In der Nähe befindet sich auch eine Schlucht Contra Pria in der man baden kann (Wer sich traut kann auch von Felsen springen), das Wasser kommt aus den Bergen sehr sauber. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Das Haus ist ein Super sauberen Zustand. Küche und Zubehör waren vollständig vorhanden, es hat nichts gefehlt. Der Vermieter hat sich schon vor dem Urlaubsantritt bemüht, uns einige Wünsche zu ermöglichen, so das wir uns beim Eintreffen Wohlfühlten (also wie daheim). Grazie Sergio für die schöne Urlaubswoche. Wir sehen uns wieder.

Bel soggiorno casa confortevole

E' stato estremamente piacevole soggiornare nella casa di Sergio, ottimamente arredata e provvista di spazi e di tutte le comodità utili a una famiglia o comitiva anche con bambini. Splendidi sia gli interni che gli esterni della casa, con la possibilità di mangiare in giardino usufruendo anche di un bel barbecue! Pulizia impeccabile ed estrema disponibilità da parte dell'host completano il quadro. Consigliato!

Super rapport qualité-prix dans une belle région

La maison est située à proximité de nombreux départs de randonnées à pied ou à vélo dans des lieux magnifiques et chargés d'histoire (ne pas manquer la ballade des 52 tunnels construits pendant la première guerre mondiale, notre préférée !) Le village en lui même n'a rien d'exceptionnel. Nous y avons séjourné à deux familles, soit 4 adultes et 7 enfants (dont un bébé) en installant deux pré-ados dans le sous sol (pas vraiment aménagé) pour ne pas être trop entassés et c'était parfait. Vue sur les montagnes et les champs. Sergio et son frère Stefano nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement, en toute confiance et en toute simplicité. Merci! NB Il faut savoir que la maison est mitoyenne d'une autre identique et que le jardin, le garage et le couloir d'accès à la deuxième salle de bain installée au sous sol sont communs. Nos voisins étaient charmants et avaient des petits enfants aussi donc cela n'a posé aucun problème.

Well appointed, lovely peaceful location, fresh and clean, would recommend

Good facilities, lovely peaceful location. The only thing I would suggest to improve on is the beds. But having been in many places on our trip, this is a common issue for us all. So not sure if this is how beds are in Europe. ( metal bases and sprung mattresses- not the best for bad backs😞. This however did not overshadow our time at this location. Hosts were very hospitable and gave us some good suggestions for places to visit

Casa ampia e accogliente, bel situata

Ci ha piacuto tanto la casa ferroviaria. La casa è ampia, limpia, ben arredata, la cucina optima attrezzata, con un grande giardino. I proprietari sono molto gentili. La casa è situata lungo una pista ciclabile. Nella casa ci sono 3 biciclette, quello que ha molto piacuto ai ragazzi. La vista è bellissima. La posizione è buono per fare delle escursione. Ci vuole un po' di tempo in macchina per raggiungere la autopista (15'), ma da lì può postarsi facilmente per visitare Vicenza, Padova, Venezia. Ci sono delle passeggiate magnifiche nella regione che ha tanta valore storica. Ci sono 2 supermercati, una buona pizzeria a meno di 5 minuti, e un ristorante delcioso a 50 metri. Dunque, una casa vacanza da raccomandare!

Jolie maison dans un endroit spectaculaire, le paysage montagneux ainsi que l'histoire.

Nous avons vécu des vacances extraordinaires dans le pays de Vélo d'Astico. La maison est bien equipée, charmante, beaucoup d'espace, beaucoup de facilités (surtout les bicyclettes pour rouler sur le vieux chemin de fer). On se sent vraiment à l'aise. La proximité de la rivière Astico (place de baignade) est un surplus. Le propriétaire dispose de beaucoup d'information: des brochures, cartes de la région et donne bien des conseils. Grâce à cette information on peut explorer les montagnes (monte Cergnio, les 52 galleries du Pasubio, forte de Corbin) et apprendre l'histoire et le passé deu peuple sud-tirolien (les traces de la grande guerre 14-18). Dans le village de Vélo d'Astico, la pizzeria Cioci's nous a tellement plu: des serveuses très aimables et les plats excellents dans un jardin romantique.

Relax ai piedi dei monti

Abbiamo soggiornato per 10 giorni con i nostri bambini nella casa della Ferrovia, e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. La casa è spaziosa, ben arredata e pulita; il padrone di casa si è dimostrato sempre molto gentile e disponibile alle nostre richieste, a volte anche anticipando le nostre necessità. Lo spazio esterno di certo non manca, e l'entrata al giardino dà su una strada ciclopedonale, rendendolo un posto perfetto per far giocare i bambini senza pericoli. Nei dintorni ci sono varie facili passeggiate da fare per esplorare i luoghi della Prima Guerra, e l'autostrada è raggiungibile in 15 minuti di macchina. Raccomandata per una piacevole soggiorno.

magnifique sejour !

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable , la region est très belle , la maison confortable et très propre avec une jolie décoration ( il manque peut-être un peu de vaisselle : bols , assiette à dessert...) . Le propriétaire est charmant et donne plein d'idée pour la decourte de la region , merci !

Perfetta Pasqua in la casa di Sergio

We had a nice easter-week 2016 with our familiy in Sergio's house. The house was in best shape, we all thought, we were the first inhabitants. There was enough space for all of us, although we have been using every bed. Our kids could play in Yard and on the nearby playground. We all had pleasant walks in the area and had short drives to Verona and Venice, each costing about an hour by car using toll-collect - motorways for six to seven Euros one way. Highly recommendable!

i'm For several years in the board of Pro Loco of my country and I have learned to believe strongly in the tourism potential of PEDEMONTANA VENETA. Being the owner of the house in Railway of Velo D'Astico I decided to get involved in the first person.

What makes this property unique

The house was built by my great-grandfather on his return from the Great War, then to me, my brother and my uncle expanded and renovated a decade ago. Furnished with taste rural, you will sleep in a room with archway interior or another with wooden mansard roof. two stairs a pink marble of Asiago and the other wood will take you to the upper floors, the main bathroom have wooden attic. The Country of Velo D'astico is located in a central point of the Veneto. in no time you can move to Venice, Padua, Verona, Trento, Rovereto, Lake Garda and in a few km Bassano del Grappa (town of "Alpini" with the bridge dedicated to them), Marostica (the city of Chess), Thiene, Schio , Asiago.
