Great little place to stay during our visit. Hosts provided everything we could have thought about needing! We loved the eclectic design and the efficient use of space. The outdoor space looked like a great place to hang out! We were here during a rainy period but on another trip I am looking forward to hanging out with my book on the back porch.
Owners were very nice and quick to answer questions. Nice stay and close to everything. We were out most of the time but the backyard was a nice place to relax in the evenings. It had everything we needed for the short time we were there. Just bring a hair blow dryer. Thanks for the stay.

Very very small
It was so small. No more the 2 people at 1 time. No directions on using tv remotes .nothing on things to do in area. House is haunted my sister and I were in kitchen and the faucet in bathroom came on full blast!
This property is absolutely adorable and has everything to make your stay perfect. There is such individuality in every room and it makes you truly feel at home away from home. The patio and back yard space is wonderful to relax. Bryan responded immediately with any questions and was very welcoming. We had a wonderful time in Wilmington and this home made it even more special! Thank you!
Loved the little house- so quaint, cozy and homey! Loved the signs- Decaf vs hairless cat! LOL!!! Has everything you would need for a nice stay and loved the HOT TEA and HOT SHOWER!! We all 3 were very pleased and will look to stay again.
Had such a great time! Place was quaint! Shabby Chic Charm. The smell of the honeysuckle’s on the back porch were Amazing! The Air condition was on when we got there never had to touch it. Never changed the thermostat. Close to the Venue and downtown! Enjoyed our stay!!! 💕 Yard was great foe our pups!
Darling little bungalow-type home with plenty of amenities. It was exactly what we needed for a last-minute stay. Only advice to owner is that the bunk room with the rope ladder gave us a good laugh. For anyone older than 25 and unfit that bed could be a challenge to access. Also when you park in the grass you have to drive over a ditch/curb area, which can wreak havoc on the bottom of a packed car. Just need some fill dirt. Otherwise, thank you. Super weekend.
I chose the residence because it was within walking distance. Of wilmington. I didn't realize how much pavement and how much it would hurt my feet. I thought the unit would also have a d v d player, but it did not. I also was very confused about how to get the volume to work on the television, and I had to call the owner. I was also a little disappointed that every time you turn on the t, v, you have to get up, walk over to the bows speaker and turn the volume up. The volume did not stay up on its own. I was also very disappointed in the amount of noise there was around the unit. There was construction going on across the street and trees were being planted out front. The next door neighbor was weed whacking, and there was constant disturbance around the property. I would recommend to the owner to put the outdoor lights on and on off.Switch or have the ability to turn them off. I went to bed early one night before nine p m.And the outdoor light stayed on. I enjoyed staying in the residents.
This was a great option for us in visiting Wilmington. It's an older house with lots of beach cottage vibes and is very cozy. We brought our dogs and it could not have been a better set up for having pets travel with you. We unfortunately had poor weather so we didn't get to enjoy the deck or back area as much as we would've liked, but it's a really nice private space if the weather is good. It's close to everything (within a 5 minute drive of the river walk downtown area). My only complaint is that the bed is pretty small for two adults. It's doable, but it's against a wall so I had to crawl over my spouse or to the end of the bed to get up. So just be aware of that if you're older or always have to pee in the middle of the night like I do. I also really appreciated that they had lights on timers and motion detector lights, so when we could come back at night the place was lit up, made it very welcoming and easy to get in and out of the house.
Cozy little older home with shabby chic, eclectic accents. Pet friendly, but no big yard for dogs. Bring a pet gate, because the backyard gate doesn't have a latch to keep dogs in. Not a neighborhood we felt safe to walk around in, but it was quiet. Close to downtown and only a few miles from the beach.
Great little place just outside of downtown. Excellent communication with Bryan— I was even able to check in a little early when I arrived! Loved the decor. Wish I had been able to see ale advantage of the cool outdoor setting, maybe next visit….
This is a great location to stay at…it’s close to every place you might want to visitIt was a great size for me, my little dog & grandsonMy son & daughter-in-law stayed a couple nights too
I stayed here for the entire month of July 2025 and had friends dropping in throughout the month. I really liked staying here. The kitchen is very small, but it has every gadget you could possibly need, including a burr mill coffee grinder, an espresso machine and full-sized washer and dryer. It only took about five minutes to get from here to the Riverwalk and about a half hour to the beaches. The back porch and the privacy fenced backyard were very pleasant and I liked being able to park on the grounds next to the backyard, The owner Bryan, was very helpful and responsive. The only reason I didn’t give five stars for this cottage is that the guest bedroom has a bunkbed with a rope ladder. That did not work for my friends, who are older and not able to climb up there.
The location was ideal. I didn’t hear or see any situations or concerns with the neighborhood. The host was fantastic and communicated well with me. Definitely stay there again.
Location location location...We (2 people) were in Wilmington for an event at the Battleship. It was very convenient and less than a 10 minute drive. On Saturday we went to the waterfront to walk around/shop/visit breweries and distillery...it was a five minute drive. We also visited some other areas around Wilmington and the drive was never very long (all less than 10 minutes). The house is older and small, but clean and well stocked kitchen; multiple TVs; great side porch for enjoying the afternoon and evenings; there were games and things but we didn't really use them...but they were there. I did need to contact the owner (no big deal) and received a response within 30 minutes. We hope it will be available for us next year.

House was gross/Street was sketch
First of all, there was a dried-up, old chicken wing just sitting on the couch. (ew!) There was a mysterious white liquid dried up on the couch as well. The floors were disgusting. (unswept) We had to make our own beds. W triple decker bunk bed, but the third level was unusable. There was an old water bottle on the bunk bed as well. Very obvious housekeeping didn't come to the house in between stays. We requested early check-in at 12, so we arrived at the house at noon. He texted me at 4 pm and said the "House was ready" and "housekeeping couldn't make my bed". Housekeeping never came in general and he clearly forgot about our request for early check-in. The water in the bathroom with a shower was brown, safe to say we didn't shower for a weekend. (water pressure was terrible) In the bathroom with the toilet, it constantly smelt of feces. (even before we used it.) No driveway, the street was sketchy, neighbors would scream, and the road was undrivable.
