In the historic center, on the second floor of the beautiful and monumental 17th century Palazzo Filangieri, experience the true atmosphere of a beautiful Neapolitan house in an oasis of tranquility.
The apartment of 100 square meters, equipped with all comforts and fully equipped, offers up to 5 beds. The location is strategic, a stone's throw from the main monuments and sites of interest: the Sansevero Chapel, the Monastery of Santa Chiara, Underground Naples, San Lorenzo Maggiore, the National Archaeological Museum.
The apartment consists of a large living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and a single bed; a large double bedroom; bathroom and kitchen, for a total of 5 beds.
The apartment, carefully furnished with antique pieces, has been restored to the last detail.
The kitchen is equipped with all appliances. The house has air conditioning and an independent heating system. The building has an elevator.
Available for guests: free WI Fi, bed linen and towels, bath products, hairdryer, iron, television. If you need anything else, I live in the house next door.

Great Stay in Historic Center

The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and is situated in an incredible centuries old building. Giulia was gracious and hospitable and gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants in the area, and helped get a taxi reservation for our last day. Wonderful stay in center of Napoli

This was the perfect base for our Naples stay. It's right in the center of the historical city, walkable to everywhere. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped, in a lovely old palace. Giulia, the owner, is a delight. She gave us a lovely breakfast our first morning and then we asked her to cook a true Neapolitan dinner for us, which was excellent. She's lived in this building her whole life, so she knows Naples very very well!

The best pizza in the world is a few steps out the door And fish in Naples is outstanding. Juliet fixed a very memorable meal on our last night. The perfect apartment for our week in Naples!

5 stars for the apartment but I’d give Giulia 10! For us, being in the old town was perfect with easy access to everywhere worth visiting. Apt was well maintained, equipped and roomy. Just as important was the interaction and communication with Giulia. Due to a family illness we had to change our arrangements with her 3 times. She was most gracious and accommodating during our stay making arrangements for us. We’ve stayed in dozens of rentals throughout Europe and this one is right there at the top. Thanks for a wonderful experience Giulia!

Giulia is an excellent host. The overview and her suggestions were spot on. She was quick to respond to questions. Great to have a washer, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is really vibrant but the apartment is very quiet and also we felt very safe at all hours. Take note of the pictures of the stairs to the upper (very nice)room. We're in our 60's but may not want to deal with that in our 70's. Elevator was handy for luggage but we didn't mind the 2 flights of stairs. We would recommend.

An authentic experience.

My daughter and I had a great experience in Naples. Guilia was wonderful. I hurt my neck and was in a lot of pain on Sunday when the pharmacies were closed. My daughter called Guila to ask her where we could find an open pharmacy and she came over brought me somethings to help. She didn't have to do this and it helped me so much. It felt like staying with a friend. She also helped us plan our excursions. The location was great and it felt like we were living like real Italians.

An Authentic Experience of Napoli

The home seems to be much as it was in appearance when built centuries ago. Of course the modern necessities such as air and electricity and water are installed and function well.. A loud flushing toilet! Our taxi driver , on arrival, claimed he couldn’t get close to the apt and dropped us some distance from the entrance. Strangely enough the taxi the landlady called to take us to the train found his way to the entrance of the house. It was a realistic Neapolitan location with many pizza places, trattorias, small grocery stores, lots of people strolling the alleys and narrow passages and still inside the home, it was relatively quiet and calming coming in out of the melee which is Napoli.

An Oasis within the Frantic Vitality of Old Town Naples

Although I don't usually leave reviews, this lovely apartment (and host) calls for one. It is hard to imagine a more delightful place to stay in Naples--completely quiet although only a half block from the liveliest street in the old town (and from a great pizza place--del Grifo). The pictures don't quite do the apartment justice; it's uncluttered and a bit larger than it looks (within the 16th-century Palazzo Filangieri d'Arianello). Giulia is a knowledgeable guide to Naples, and helpfully arranged (lowest price) taxis. Perhaps the only difficulty for some might be the bedroom up the circular flight of stairs, but there is also a comfortable large bed made from the sofa downstairs for those who prefer that. I've already recommended this place to friends.

Awesome Apartment in the Heart of Old Town Naples

Giulia was a wonderful host and provided all the information you need about places to go and things to see in and around Naples. The apartment is lovely and easily accommodated a family of four. Hidden behind big beautiful wooden doors, you'll find the most lovely courtyard leading up to the apartment. We had a wonderful 3 days and despite two full days away from Naples, we were able to take advantage of Guilia's suggestions and see some marvelous historic sites -- all within minutes of the apartment.

This spacious apartment, in a beautiful old building, is right off Via Tribunali. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and attractions right at the doorstep. We could walk everywhere, or easily get the metro from Piazza Dante. Guilia was very helpful! The air conditioning was much appreciated, and we slept well. Great for a visit to beautiful, lively Naples!

The giant sized outside door leading into the courtyard was right out of 1200BC, really. The building was a monestary and had amazing details. The lift was very old but charming with the double doors and the apartment is well taken care of by Guliana who greeted us warmly and spent some much appreciated time with us explaining the city, what not to miss, and foods to eat. Though I found Naples a bit wild, it had a soul I hadn’t felt in the other cities we visited. The loft bedroom was quiet and comfortable though the spiral stairs took some getting use to. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a central location, safe, and nicely kept place. There were just the two of us but it could easily accommodate a family. The restaurant right across the street was excellent as well and the service great.

Eine schöne Unterkunft, sehr zentral gelegen

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Giulia als Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend, sie hilft mit vielen Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Wohnung in der Altstadt war für uns sehr passend: Mittendrin. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und trotzdem ist die Wohnung selbst sehr ruhig. Wir konnten in der Nähe alles einkaufen für unsere Verpflegung. Etwas schade war, dass die Spülmaschine nicht funktioniert hat, da wir regelmäßig gekocht haben. Dass der Palazzo Filangieri, in dem die Wohnung sich befindet, schon Johann Wolfgang von Goethe und Herzogin Anna Amalie von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisennach als Unterkunft diente, macht einen besonderen Reiz dieser Unterkunft aus; ebenso wie der historische Fahrstuhl, laut Beschreibung der Erste seiner Art in Neapel. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Schoon en nette woning

Keurige woning en een aardige eigenaresse. Mooie lokatie om de stad te leren kennen. In het begin dachten we waar zijn we nu weer in beland maar met een halve dag was dat gevoel gelukkig alweer weg. Er is veel te zien en te beleven in deze grote stad. Het was een leuk en fijn verblijf maar nu gaan weer terug naar ons eigen stadje in Haarlem Nederland. Luxury in the historic heart of Naples

We were thrilled with the idea of living in an early-17th-century palazzo, and it more than lived up to our expectations. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with hand-made tile accents in the kitchen and bathroom and antique adornments throughout. That said, it's also completely modern in its conveniences. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, the pantry supplied with essentials, and the bathroom stocked with soaps, shampoos and plush towels. The beds are comfortable and the loft room is cleverly designed, with lots of closet and dresser space. Giulia, our host, could not have been more gracious and helpful. We arrived to a table full of brochures and maps and a house book full of suggestions from Giulia of places to see, foods not to miss, and advice about day trips. She kindly called a friend living in the Paestum area to find out how we could get from the train station to the archeological site and then mapped it out for us on her phone. Though she was out of town during part of our stay, she was quick to answer questions by email. She even left breakfast foods for our first morning there - including homemade preserves. We felt well cared for. The location is ideal for exploring Naples. We were able to visit all the sites in the historic center on foot. Special highlights for us were the national archeological museum, with its treasures from Pompeii and Herculaneum; Santa Chiara cloister, with its beautiful 18th-century majolica-tiled columns and benches and 17th-century Old Testament frescoes; and the beautiful waterfront, with its views of Mt. Vesuvius and Capri. We also loved Via San Gregorio Armeno, a few blocks from the apartment, where artisan workshops still produce the figures for the elaborate Nativity scenes found in churches all over Italy, with the village people going about their business as, somewhere within the scene, three wise men pay homage to a newborn baby. The stay for us was magical. We had a beautiful home-away-from-home, with a charming and attentive host, in a fascinating city.
