Mountain View was wonderful. We drove our skiers/snowboarders over. It took about 10 mins max to make the trip over and drop and return to condo. I would say it would be nice to have an airfyer in the condo, but we had everything we needed to cook and grill. Hot tub view was private but would have loved do it to have a view of the mountain. Heating and Cooling was an adventure for us. We couldn’t seem to get it regulated. It was hot hot or too cool. But over all that was fine too! Beds were nice and we had plenty of towels to use.

Thank you for the five-star review! Glad Mountain View was wonderful and the short drive to the ski area worked well. Appreciate the air fryer suggestion — we’ll look into adding one. Sorry the hot tub didn’t offer a mountain view and for the trouble regulating the heating/cooling; we’ll have maintenance check the system and update the thermostat instructions. Happy to hear the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We appreciated having you as our guest and would love to host you again.

Hello Alissa, It is an honor to host you at one of our properties and we apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. Your feedback is important to us, we will use this as an opportunity to improve our service and management. We hope you had a lovely stay in Montana, we would love to welcome you back! Stay Safe.
Good location but bed in bunk room is smaller than listed
I would have given this 5 stars except for 1 main reason…..The bed in the bunk room is not a queen it is a double bed and made for some uncomfortable sleeping. On the plus side the futon is comfy enough to spread out. The property manager only replies during business hours which does not help when you arrive late or have questions during non business hours. However they were very nice and responsive. Overall I think this was a good value and I would stay again.

Property good, service hiccups not so good
We rented this property for 2 families meeting for a long weekend. The property itself was spacious and well equipped.
That said, we did encounter several service related issues - our door code was not correct upon check in, requiring a phone call and the trial of multiple alternative codes. Upon gaining access - we were supposed to have a pack and play in the property (which we paid for separately and in advance) and it was not there. This was particularly problematic because we arrived after 8pm, so our infant was already in meltdown mode. Lastly mid way through our stay, roof construction re-started (per a previous review) while we were away for lunch. When we returned there was a large crane like vehicle parked in the parking spot and loud noise coming from the roof, forcing us to park down the street and negotiate with the workers to delay their work while our infant napped.
All of these issues were resolved over the phone with Stay Montana, however, all seemed preventable, hence the 3 star review.
We would book again given the quality of the property but we hope the service issues are ironed out for future guests.

Perfect Location and Spacious
We had a great stay. Easy check in, good value, location close to mountain and slept our group of 6 very comfortably. We cooked twice and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would rebook again. Thanks
We had a great time at the property. It’s close the big sky and private hot tub is key. I would recommend having a vehicle.

Greg Hello, Thank you for the review and we are so glad you pointed out that a vehicle is almost mandatory for Big Sky, there is an amazing shuttle service but for special trips a vehicle is needed. While we are on the subject please keep in mind we are in Montana, and there for subject to Montana's winter tantrums, that being said 4 wheel drive is highly recommended during the winter spring and fall.

Big sky vacation
Shuttle bus only comes once an hour, should be every 15-20 minutes
Dishwasher rack is broken and doesn’t clean well
Toilets on main floor had no pressure, required multiple flushes and plunging
No serving utensils and few platters
No big pots
Stovetop burners only 1/4burners worked
Compared to other ski vacation rentals this was subpar for the money

The shuttle is easy to get to and convinient. But the beds are pretty uncomfortable. The house is very nice. Fit 9 of us perfectly. The kitchen is stocked well. It says there is no crock pot but there are actually 3.

Rosey, we are so happy to hear that you had a good stay here with us! So sorry to hear that the beds weren't totally comfortable for you. Beds are a hit and miss with every guest. It is hard to say what comfort level is preferred for everyone. And also a bonus for the crock pots! We will be sure to add that to our amenities. Thank you again for choosing Stay Montana and we hope to see you again very soon!
Loved big sky/ management company could be more responsive
Property was as advertised. Location was great. Had all the details necessary for a great stay. That being said a few issues needed to be addressed and management company was poor in responding as it was a holiday week. If you do property management you should be prepared to “manage” properties during these busy times. Property had everything but just needs to update and keep up with several issues. Coffee maker did not work…top shelf of dishwasher and was broken, the front door keypad did not lock ,the back door would not lock from the inside and the couch pulley system was broken in several spots. That being said it was a great location and great destination. House was great and big sky was great. My only true wish would be that the shuttles ran more often than once per hour up to the village. Otherwise a great place to stay. Would do it again.

Andres, we are happy to hear overall that you had a wonderful stay here with us. Big Sky during the holidays is truly magical. We do not see any emails, texts, or any other unanswered communication from you. So, if there was something we did not address we do apologize for that. Our main goal is to provide the best possible customer service. We hope to see you again!
There was no WiFI in the property which means we couldn’t use the internet or the TV. Stay Montana, the property management company, tried to fix it and even got us a new box but no success. We spent a week like this- and even though we dream about being “off the grid” sometimes- it wasn’t the right time to be without it, my husband wasn’t able to participate in important meetings with work and my young children could have used some tv time.
Cleanliness was an issue as well- we found severely stained blankets and towels upon arrival, a broken bed and a broken window.
The place itself was a good size and good location. I think Stay Montana, the management company, has some major issues to work out with the place though. Stay Montana refused to refund our money and said they were working to fix the Wifi but in the end came up empty handed. We were very upset that they didn’t remedy the situation.
I would say beware of rentals run by management properties. Better to rent something that the actual owner is involved. We did this with our previous rental and had a much more positive experience and communication.

Good Property, Horrible Property Management
The property was clean, spacious and well appointed inside. However, we were not informed of the ROOF replacement that was going on during our entire stay. They worked from sunup until dark. I contacted the property management company on 3 different occasions about the inconvenience, noise and MESS around the hot tub, deck and parking area. My friends and I traveled from different parts of the country for a getaway. We should have been informed of the ROOF REPAIR prior to our booking and definitely prior to our arrival. RUN, do not walk, from any property managed by Stay Montana.

Thank you for taking the time to review us about your recent experience. Our primary goal is to provide every guest with the best possible experience. We apologize that we fell short of your expectations as well as our own. Had we received any complaint during your stay, we would have done all that we could to make sure we corrected the problem as fast and as best we could. Thank you again for staying with us, and we would love the opportunity to host you again and show you the true Stay Montana experience.
We've been coming to Big Sky for years and this is the first time trying a VRBO. We all agreed we'll do it this way again. Being able to relax in a home environment after a day on the slopes was way better than being stuck in a hotel room or a lobby with Covid rules.
