About this property

Seaside Sanctuary is a 4 bedroom with a loft, 3 bath, OCEANFRONT duplex with over 2000 square feet of living space that sleeps 14 people. The main level has a fully equipped kitchen with all brand new appliances in 2017, an eat-in island kitchen, a living/dining area with all new furniture in 2017, and a queen sized bedroom with full bath. The second floor has 2 king sized rooms oceanfront with walk out deck, and 1 Queen sized bedroom with a small private street side sitting deck, and 2 full sized baths. The third floor is a perfect retreat for the children featuring 1 queen and 4 single beds and is equipped with toys and games. The duplex has free WIFI, 5 Roku enabled TVs, charcoal built-in grill, DVD players, beach furniture and toys, and hot/cold enclosed outdoor shower. There is plenty of room to play and rest on the wide spacious beach that is only steps from the back door. Duplex is private with its own separate walkway to the beach. The decking areas are perfectly suited for lounging while watching for the occasional dolphins that swim by.

Please note that our Seaside Sanctuary is a NO Smoking/Vaping property and is rented by the week only, during the months of April through October. For the months of November through March, a minimum stay of three nights is required. Professional cleaning and linens are provided, a $250 cleaning/linen fee will be added to the reservation fee.

Perfect for family

The property owners were proactive in communicating with me about our stay. The property was easily located and provided plenty of parking for our family (5 vehicles). You can see the ocean from the living room, dining room and kitchen; as well as two bedrooms and the great big room that has five beds. Overall, we loved it!

Cozy and Peaceful

Seaside Sanctuary was just that . . . a cozy, peaceful sanctuary I returned to at the end of very busy, business filled days in Morehead City. It was a delight to stay in this lovely home with the ocean as my backyard. The home was clean, organized, and equipped with everything you need for a great time at the beach! You can tell the hosts love their home. Chris was very kind and responsive. Stay at Seaside Sanctuary - you will love it!

Fantastic sanctuary on an idyllic beach

The property was perfect and spacious. Everything was in great condition and Chris was an excellent host. The beach was almost exclusive because of the proximity of the houses. I would definitely go again.

My wife Karen and I love the ocean! We met in Southern California and have lived in multiple states over the years, usually by the water. The ocean has always been our sanctuary, thus the name. When we were offered the opportunity to purchase this home, it was a dream come true... a true blessing. This is our home away from home and hope you feel the same way during your stay.

We love sitting on one of the many decks, grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the late afternoon while watching the dolphins as they make their way up the coast.

Why they chose this property

This property is a duplex and has a private walkway to the beach, not shared with the other half of the duplex. If you are looking for a place right on the beach that is comfortable and family oriented, you have found it! It's a place to play in the sand or swim in the ocean, while avoiding the crowds, just steps from your back door. Emerald Isle is a south facing beach, offering views of beautiful sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening. It is a gorgeous place to be year round. Emerald Isle was voted the best beach in North Carolina by USA Today in 2018.
