This 1,100-square-foot rebuilt and redesigned condominium on gorgeous and quaint Anna Maria Island, offers spectacular views of Sarasota and Tampa Bays while sitting just 250 easy steps from the white sands and blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It features a totally new kitchen and new baths, as well as many other new elements and design touches.

It is a comfortable hideaway for island living with access to whatever lifestyle you're in the mood for. Be a beachcomber on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, wander the island's unique shopping and dining spots on a free trolley, bicycle in designated bike lanes up and down the island to nearby Longboat Key. Choose dining from among fun and funky waterfront hangouts and elegant restaurants on the island or in nearby Sarasota, also home to great theater, the Ringling Museums, Mote Marine, high-end shopping and more beaches.

Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and sand toys are available in the parking lot storage cabinet marked 4B (unlock using the same entry code as our condo). Please use the hose provided near the stairs to rinse off sand before returning these items. An outside pool shower is also available. The code for the pool bathroom is 1301.

Close access to the beach. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Walking distance to some restaurants. Although we didn't use it, trolly stop for free trolley was very close and the pool looked clean. View of the bay was nice

There was so confusion trying to find the parking spot when we first checked in. It’s easy to miss the turn in. The building itself is rather old and run down. The dump where trash is taken was overflowing for days and it’s directly on the beach path. Smelt like smoke. The pool was very small and extremely cloudy all week. The condo itself was great. The back patio could use some updating. It looks like the decks on either side had replaced flooring. The dock is lit and in great shape.

Hi Erin We read our reviews and appreciate the feedback on your recent stay. Happy to hear the condo and dock were “great”. Disappointing to hear about a cloudy pool and overflowing trash receptacle. Please know we brought it to the attention of Baywatch Management who are usually quite responsive. I will also update the driving instructions to include that the entrance to our building is between the Silver Surf and Tortuga Inn. Baywatch is two buildings with separate entrances and it can be confusing. Thanks again and hope to see you next year! The Chapmans

Overall, a great stay at this lovely condo. The view is wonderful, the unit is comfortable, private and in a small complex. Kitchen supplies are plentiful. It was cleaned to perfection. The pool area is nice to relax around and it is always clean. It was encouraging to see the progress made since the hurricanes, and the new landscaping is coming along quite well. We have stayed in this unit a few times and always have a great time. The owner responded quickly when there was one small blip with parking upon arrival. It was resolved within a very short time. Thanks for another fun stay on the bay.....our favorite side of the island.

Winter Vacation

Property was well kept, and the unit was comfortable and well equipped. The location was good, with a short walk to restaurants and beach cafes. The beach was just across the street. The sunrise views over the bay off the deck were beautiful.

Beautiful fully equipped condo in a great location. Had difficulty accessing the beach chairs in the locker the first few days but finally managed to get it open. One thing to consider is the "height" of the king bed in the primary bedroom. For those vertically challenged (I'm 5'2") it was difficult climbing into bed.

Tristan graduated from Manatee High School in Bradenton and both of our children were born here. Our careers took us away, but we love to return to Anna Maria Island whenever we can. It's our home-away-from-home. We currently live in Fort Myers, Florida.

Why they chose this property

Anna Maria Island is a family-friendly place reminiscent of old Florida, with many "mom and pop" businesses and restaurants. That's because, in part, it was developed residentially before high-rises took over in many coastal areas. Over time, the island has managed to retain its quaint feel while happily accommodating a steady stream of visitors drawn to its charm, as well as its beautiful white, sandy beaches that showcase nature at its most magnificent. There's really no other place like it.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is practically brand new since a summer of 2018 upgrade throughout, but our favorite place to be while there is on the balcony over the bay. It is the width of the unit and is furnished for nature watching, allowing us to observe birds and the dolphin catching their dinners. Facing east, It's a perfect vantage point for relaxed evenings without the sun in your eyes and a cool beverage at hand. We think you will love it, too.
