All Granite counter tops, Travertine Baths w/granite, All wood flooring.

Opposite end of the house has two bedrooms with queen beds and bath.

What we liked: Room configuration of the house and its well-equipped kitchen. A/C and mechanical functions excellent. Tranquility of the location.What was disappointing: There were NO INSTRUCTIONS anywhere in the house about how its amenities and practicalities functioned...and, regrettably, the host was insufficiently communicative. She left us between exasperation and helplessness. As can be observed from our correspondences on the VRBO website, she provided curt and short-fused answers and guidance for many of the questions we asked and problems we encountered. The TV had us confounded as we are old folks and had never encountered such a TV. She did little to help us with this. Also, during an early conversation, we specifically asked her if she had a house manager or caretaker who lived nearby who would be available to help us if a problem arose. There was no one and she would not address this subject further. The only person, whom we assume was a friend of hers, came by to check on the condition of the water heater which a couple of days after we arrived, permanently failed because of its 22 year-old age. A new water heater was installed the same day. All in all, our stay was frustrating and disappointing especially in view of all the money we paid.

A trip to the pines

Amazing cabin with a great location. It was so nice to sit on the spacious patio drinking coffee and watching the animals play. Definitely would recommend and stay here again!
