Summer holidays in Aix stay
The property was beautiful and in a perfect location, close to the Old City of Aix-en-Provence. However, there were a couple of disappointments. The house was listed as having 4 bedrooms, it did, but one of them was not attached to the main house, it was in the garden house and looked like it was a sleeper couch. This was not specified. After I booked it, the homeowner said that I was to give them 250 euros in cash upon checking in. This was for the linens. It did not specify at all that the linens were not included and I thought that was an exhorbitant price for 3 sets of sheets, especially when we had prepaid for cleaning. They asked me a couple of times for it, but then dropped it. I let them know that any exchange of money had to be specified prior to the booking of the property and it wasn't right to bring it up after our agreement. The homeowners, or one of there agents, were on the property almost every other day for plant watering, pool cleaning, outside cleaning, etc. so there is a slight lack of privacy. All in all, our stay was wonderful. The house if very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need.
