Kaanapali Luxury Vacation Rentals welcomes you to our beautiful upper level Luana Villa at the Honua Kai Resort.

Spend your days at your enclave’s private pool and hot-tub located amongst the luxurious Hawaiian gardens or take a very short stroll to the world famous Kaanapali beach, or aquatic playgrounds of the Honua Kai resort.  Experience world class dining, shopping and golf within minutes leaving your villa by visiting Whaler’s village and the Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses. 

This Upper Level villa will provide you with the privacy to relax in your lanai while enjoying the views of your garden enclave. The residence is fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation and a gourmet kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals.  The Lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ and plenty of lounging and dining space for the entire family. The residence also includes a private garage and an ensuite full size washer and dryer.

Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.


OCCUPANCY:
Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. If approved, a fee of $100+tax per day will be added to the reservation for each additional guest.

We have a collection of beautiful 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos in the Hokulani and Konea towers along with several gorgeous Luana Garden villas within the Honua Kai resort.

Resort has a NO PET policy.

CANCELLATION:
Cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to arrival is subject to a 10% (of total) cancellation fee. Any cancellations made within the 60-day period may result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Please review the listing Terms and Conditions for more information. We highly recommend that all guests purchase a travel insurance policy. Cancelation policy is strictly enforced. All credit cards fees will be deducted before a refund is issued.

We Love Honua Kai

This was our fifth stay at Honua Kai. We have always stayed in one of the towers and really enjoy the property, we decided to try the Villa Condos – mostly because of COVID – No elevators, more private pool area and a little more privacy. We believe we were the first guests for this particular unit! So clean does not begin to describe the place. – IT appeared to be brand new. We stayed October 19-24 just as the island reopened – cautionary note – be patient and realize that not everything will be open and the places that are, the seating is limited. PLAN ahead – make reservations if you want to eat out. Most of all be patient. Honua Kai the Property: PROS: Pools - there are four in the resort and each has varied attributes for the different family members. Most Villa “Pod’s” has their own pool too! SO plenty of pool options. Dukes on the Beach – although not open during this stay due to COVID – they were in the process of reopening. We have had many excellent meals there. Two mini-markets – One in each tower. Both were closed when we were there. Nice grounds that are well kept EVERYDAY! Good Beach to walk – Walkable (we walked it almost every day – 1.8 miles down and 1.8 miles back on the beach walk (path just above the beach in front of all the resorts), good snorkeling. CON: Proximity to the Westin – SIX towers of condos right next door. Beach in front of Honua Kai- when the tide comes in there is very little beach and you are sharing the little beach there is with the condos on both sides. It is rocky in some areas. However, with a car – there are plenty of beaches on the island to enjoy. VILLA 11C PROS: Gorgeous inside. Very well done. My husband and I remodel homes and also host our own short term rentals – these are first class units. Finishes are top of the line and all the items provided – dishes, pots and pan and linens are first class. AMAZING host! – very responsive and friendly to deal with! Beds were comfortable and the set up was easy to keep clean. (i.e. not a lot of clutter and well designed set up) Close to the back of the property – Sneak thru the hedge to Times Supermarket and the food truck outdoor dining area set up just behind the property. (Thai noodles were amazing) The Villa Pod pool and hot tub – Most of the time we had it to ourselves. Which was amazing – BUT there were only five of the 20 condos around that “pod” rented during our stay. WIFI was excellent – we had on-line high sc

This was a great condo and location. Very spacious, right next to one of the pools and short walk to the beach. Close walking distance to food trucks, grocery store, and other restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Condo

We had a blast during our stay. The condo was brand new and had all the latest appliances. It was huge and had plenty of space for us. We had our 2 young children and it was very kid friendly and had everything we needed- a high chair, pack and play, wagon, beach chairs, etc. We loved how walkable everything was. I'd highly recommend staying here- it was exactly like the pictures, but even bigger! The private pool was great and access to the resort and beach was easy. As our first vacation with our two small kids, it was perfect.

Ready to rebook!

Our family of 7 adults had a fabulous vacation based out of our Honua Kai villa. After traveling 12+ hours that day, we opened the door to the very spacious, immaculate, and nicely appointed condo. We were pleased with its location within the resort property which provided reasonable privacy, and was just a short walk to the resort hotel, additional pools, and the beach. Our group enjoyed snorkeling at the resort beach, but don’t forget water shoes because of the submerged rocks. Management is very responsive to requests/concerns. We would certainly like to return to this beautiful spot, and would choose one of the Honua Kai villas again.

Amazing Family Vacation

We had the most amazing family vacation at Honua Kai. There was something for everything. We have a two and one year old, and this property was everything we could have asked for blending the amenities of a resort and the convenience of a condo. Everything is pristine, the design of the condo is AMazing. So much storage, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs a wagon etc. everything is very well thought out. We are regulars to this side of the island and will for sure be returning. Aloha!!
