Rustic charm with a gorgeous view
This villa gave us everything we needed for a much-needed break from reality - rustic charm, but well appointed with each bedroom having an en suite and nicely decorated throughout.
The kitchen was well equipped & we made use of the easy-to-use barbecue situated on a small terrace off the kitchen.
But for us, the outside space really made our holiday. Plentiful seating on the terraces and a good size dining table which would accommodate eight (there were six adults in our party) around which we played games some evenings whilst enjoying the twinkling lights of Javea laid out before us beyond the tops of the pine trees which gave the villa a secluded feel. And we loved the swallows swooping over the table into their nest in the evening - a privilege to behold.
The pool is not huge but I just did a few more lengths of it to get my daily exercise and although there is table tennis we gave it a miss as it was a little too hot to play in August.
The hosts were very quick in responding and clear in their information pack.
All in all, it felt like home from home and we would definitely consider a revisit.
