Sun, sea & spectacular views in superb situation steeped in sunshine!

Looking to escape the British winter? Come and spend up to the 90 day Schengen limit in my lovely south facing apartment with a terrace that gives you daylong sunshine. If you are from the EU why not come for longer still?!

As the title suggests this apartment is hard to beat. The large terrace overlooks the Fontana canal and a marina for small boats. From here there are incredible views in every direction - to Cabo San Antonio, the Arenal beach and Cap Prim, the canal / marina and magnificent Montgo and the mountains of the interior. The terrace is a year round sun trap with sun from dawn to dusk but with welcome shade from the sun in summer. Here is the perfect place for relaxing with a book or just watching the world go by and, of course, al fresco dining. Inside, the triple aspect of the apartment makes it a bright and airy space to enjoy in every season.

The apartment is newly renovated to an exceptionally high standard with a modern, well equipped kitchen, a dining area and comfortable living area with a smart tv and satellite tv. There are three bedrooms (one king, one double and one single) and a modern shower room and a cloakroom. The apartment is perfect for 2, 3 or 4 people although there are three bedrooms - the single room is ideal if not all guests wants to share a bedroom. It also has a desk should you need to write either for work or pleasure.

Just a few minutes pleasant walk by the canal along Canal Norte brings you to the sandy Arenal beach and the wealth of restaurants and bars that cater for all budgets and preferences. There are also numerous small shops and boutiques and several supermarkets within a short distance. A twenty minute or so stroll along the sea front passing several beach bars brings you to the port area of Jávea, again with innumerable bars and restaurants and plenty of shops. The old town is just a bit too far to walk to but there is a bus service if you don't have a car.

Due to the apartments’ position on a narrow, one way street there is minimal road noise - instead you can hear the waves on stormy nights.

There is secure parking for guests although, with a regular bus link to Alicante airport, a car would certainly not be essential for an enjoyable holiday.

For families with teenage children this is the perfect place to stay. With the beach and the Arenal promenade an easy 5 minute walk away plus a tourist “train” that runs along the canal and takes passengers to the port or the old town of Javea teenage children can have some independence in a safe environment while the parents enjoy their holiday. There are also several bar/ restaurants with swimming pools within a short walk where visitors can enjoy the pool for the price of buying a drink.

Please note that the price varies depending on the number of guests. The base price is for 2 people. The property sleeps up to 5 but is better suited to 4. I only accept children over the age of 8, adults over 25 and no single sex groups - this is definitely not an apartment for parties! Please contact me for more information on my policies.

Located in Javea, this apartment is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Cap de la Nau Lighthouse and Castillo de Moraira are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Ozone Bowling and Accastillage Diffusion Denia. Moraira Park and Garden of L'Albarda are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.

Everything was perfecto!
The apartment is lovely with all the best furnishings. It is in a great location - the waterfront area of Jávea is magical. Deb, the property owner, was incredibly helpful. She picked me up at the bus stop and took me back when it was time to leave. We weren't sure if the bus was running due to Good Friday holiday and she was even willing to drive me to Calpe, my next stop. Way above and beyond. This was the best VRBO experience I have had. Thank you Deb!

Fantastic location
We’ve just got back home to Bournemouth and can honestly say we have had a great time in Xabia. Deborah from the time we booked was very responsive and answered all our questions. The apartment itself is of very good decor and is spotlessly clean and very comfortable and well equipped. The area is also beautiful, right by a marina and a very easy walk to all the restaurants and beach of which is also lovely. It’s worth while hiring the jet skis out and also a boat for half a day , very scenic along the coastline. We feel very relaxed after our break and cannot fault anything. Thankyou Deborah.

Brilliant post-pandemic holiday back in Javea!
For our first visit back to Javea and first post-pandemic holiday in four years we needed our accommodation to be really good and our booking experience to be hassle-free. I have to say that Deborah more than met our expectations with her lovely canal-side apartment. The location is brilliant; lovely views and short walk to the Arenal (beach) area. The apartment itself is recently renovated to a very high standard with pretty much every amenity you could wish for in a self-catering property (a proper luxury home in fact) and many you wouldn't even have considered essential thoughtfully provided by Deborah. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two full weeks with no hassle or problems whatsoever from the moment we made the reservation to the morning we locked up and dropped the key off. The off-street parking for our rental car was priceless for trips to the supermarket and exploring further afield, whilst being a short walk to the beach and restaurants in the evening meant you didn’t have to drive or walk far to amenities if you didn’t want to. Great location for Javea with Arenal on your doorstep and the port and old town only 30 mins stroll away or 5 mins by car. Great views in all directions from the generous 5th floor balcony, from Cap de San Antoni to the north to Cabo de San Martin south and spectacular sunsets over the majestic Montgo (mountain) through the kitchen window! We spent many lazy hours relaxing on the balcony afternoons and evenings just watching the boats and the world go by on the canal just below the apartment. The air con in the living room and main bedroom was most welcome when the heat got too much from time to time. Overall a fabulous stay - highly recommended. We will definitely visit again, thanks Deborah.

This was a perfect week away in a brilliantly located apartment
We love Javea and this apartment was great for us, within 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. We asked Deborah (the host)to see if she would mind ordering us some sun loungers for the beach prior to us arriving and I would transfer her the money. Deborah not only ordered them but wouldn’t accept our money as they could be used by other guests. From before we had arrived we had great communication and service. We both want to return to this property.

I fell in love with Javea more than 20 years ago and am so lucky to be able to call it my home town. I bought this apartment recently and have renovated it completely and to a high standard as my intention is to live in it when I eventually move from a different area of Javea. I have therefore paid attention to every detail, refurbishing to a high standard and in a way that pleases me, not that is "good enough" for the rental market - this is no ordinary rental property.

Why they chose this property

My apartment really is hard to beat as not only has it been freshly decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard and so well equipped that I doubt that there is anything that you might need that is not provided (if there is please let me know) but it is also in an outstanding situation. Within a few minutes walk of the beach, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlours, low key night life, shops .......... everything is there on your doorstep. Add to this the benefit of open views, a large balcony that guarantees you sun all day long whether winter or summer and with the added bonus of no (or almost no) mosquitos it really is quite perfect.

What makes this property unique

Apart from its situation - so close to everything and yet quiet, my apartment must be one of the brightest, sunniest apartments in Javea as it benefits from windows on the east and west aspects as well as the patio doors to the south providing access from the living room and bedroom to the terrace. In fact on sunny days in winter no heating is needed during the day. And the views , not just from the terrace but from the kitchen and bedroom, set it apart from other properties. The entire apartment is exceptionally peaceful, decorated to feel calm and relaxed.
I know that a good nights sleep on holiday is of primary importance so the beds are new, as are the pocket sprung mattresses and the bedlinen is pure Egyptian cotton.
Security is also a bonus as the only possible access to the apartment is via the front door so the windows and balcony doors can be left open without worry.
