Lakefront Condo on Crooked Lake, Family-Friendly, Boat Slip Available

This remodeled second floor, 1-bedroom, 2-full bath waterfront condominium offers 340 feet of shared sandy shoreline on Crooked Lake. The Inland House is ideally located on 131 across from the Little Traverse Wheelway bike path and a short distance from Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City. The Inland House condo is approximately 6-7 miles from Nubs Nob and Boyne Highland ski resorts.

This 650 sq foot unit has been completely remodeled, including: a fully equipped kitchen and appliances, two new bathrooms, and flooring. One room with a vaulted ceiling has a queen size murphy bed that sleeps 2 guests while the other room has a King bed (new in October 2024) and a twin trundle bed (new twin mattresses August 2023). This unit accommodates 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. While the trundle bed can accommodate adults, it is probably most comfortable for children. The full kitchen has everything you may need including granite countertops, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, single-serve Keurig and K-pods, pots and pans, and dishes/glassware. All bedding/towels are included. A variety of toiletries are at the condo for anything you may have forgotten upon your arrival.

Cable and high speed Internet/WiFi are included along with air conditioning. Our unit also has a natural gas fireplace.

The Inland House includes on-site washer and dryer (new in October 2024) located on the first floor of the complex at no cost, a community gas grill, tables and chairs in the common area courtyard, and a fire pit. It offers parking for guests and an elevator to the second floor unit if needed. This unit does not have a private balcony.

**A boat slip is available with this unit. However, trailers of any type are not allowed to be kept overnight in the parking lot. The building management is very strict about this rule. Ryde Marine and Windjammer Marina are nearby and may be able to accommodate for trailer storage.

**No pets and no smoking are allowed.

Northern Michigan Vacation at Crooked Lake

Condo was cleanest, most modern, and most well appointed rental we've ever had. It was ideally set on western shore of Crooked Lake, only a short distance from Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Boyne Mountain Resort, and Harbor Springs - all places we visited during our stay. The hosts Val and Ed take obvious pride in providing the cleanest rental possible with all the conveniences and amenities anyone would need. All in all, a fantastic rental. 5 stars!

Great home base

It was a great place to stay! Very clean and cute! I loved being right on the water, and they provided all the little things we might have forgotten. We visited Petoskey, Harbor Springs and Charlevoix all within reasonable driving distance.

4th of July getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It accommodated our family of 5 with 3 college age kids so well. It was so clean and had such special touches including 4th of July soap and napkins, a great basket of treats and fantastic coffee selections. The location was perfect for our trips to the surrounding towns and beaches. It was so relaxing to sit right outside on the lake too!

Great stay!

The condo was very clean and exactly as described. Beautiful view of the lake and plenty of room for our family of 4. The location is only about a 10 minute drive from Harbor Springs and Petoskey. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect stay for a wonderful trip!

This listing was even better than the photos! It was beautiful, clean, had all the bathroom, kitchen and living room amenities you could ask for! The best part was by far the location. Great Girls Weekend

A beautiful condo with wonderful lake views. Unit was very nice, super clean and had everything you need. Location is great for visiting Petosky and Charlavoix. State park beach just a few minutes away. You can tell owners go above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend.

The place was very clean upon arrival! We didn't have any issues with check-in. Owners were easy to communicate with. Nice little beach to use and next to a public access beach as well. The condo is also well stocked with certain necessities like salt, pepper, extra toilet paper, etc in case you need it. Overall our stay was very nice there!

Perfect clean location

We loved our stay here! It was very clean, decorated beautifully, easy access with code, and the.perfect size for the 4 of us. It was in a good location close to everything we wanted to do whether it was Petoskey, or Harbour Springs or just a short drive to Mackinaw City. We loved how they had toiletry items because we did forget some items and the snacks were a big plus. Thanks for everything!!

Wonderful View!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the condo and the beautiful location on the lake. You are really close to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Even though the building is older it is taken care of and this unit has been updated very nicely. Would totally stay here again if we visit the area. Pros: Location, 2 full baths, very clean and comfortable, great A/C. Really nice little touches you don't get in most VRBO's (a great gift basket with chocolate treats, plenty of K cups for your morning coffee, toothpaste, tooth brushes, extra shampoo/conditioner, etc) in case you forgot to pack those items. Cons: The main bed feels like a full size (but could be a queen) and is a little firm for our taste. An upgrade to a King bed would be our only suggestion.

Beautiful condo! Beautifully decorated, quiet area, immaculately clean. The condo has a great kitchen and we could see the lake from the dining table. There was plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. There was also a sweet welcoming gift. We had an a amazing stay.

Little Traverse Vacation

Great little condo overlooking peaceful Crooked Lake that has the ideal location for visiting all of the attractions in the Little Traverse Bay area. The condo was comfortable and nicely appointed. Two full bathrooms is a nice bonus too. My only recommendation to the host would be to replace the twin bed’s mattress, it is absolutely horrible. Other than that one issue, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well. Great condo!

Get away...

Everything was very nice...great location to Harbor Springs (12mins), Petoskey (15 mins), golf (less than 10), N Western MI walking, biking, running trail (50-60 miles long and just 1 block from the front door). Ed and Val had the place ready and we even had some nice treats from Kilwins, plus water and drinks in the fridge...couldn't have asked for more...will stay there again!!!. Mike and Marianne

ski weekend up north

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was stocked with every little extra "around the house" necessity I could imagine us wanting so there was no need to run out to get anything we may have forgotten. Ed was extremely responsive and accommodating, responding within minutes to any questions I had. The location was within a 10 minute drive to Nub's Nob. And about the same to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Crooked lake, (though frozen during our visit), was a serene view to wake up to every morning. We will definitely be back!

Clean and cozy

We traveled with our 2 college age kids and the space was the perfect size for the four of us and all our gear for the 4 nights we were there. Very clean, well-appointed, comfortable and cozy. The owners thought of everything and the condo had everything we needed. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket that immediately set the tone for our wonderful trip. Crooked Lake was serene and beautiful. Explored nearby Petosky (loved it) and, although it was chilly, enjoyed our day at the beach at Petosky State Park. Rented a pontoon boat from Windjammer Marina - very helpful staff - and had a great afternoon cruising around the lake and the sandbar, fishing off the side or jumping off to splash around. Bought firewood from the nearby grocery for the fire pit - perfect for the crisp, cool evenings. Great getaway with our kids, great condo, beautiful lake that checks off all the boxes. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation!

My family of 5 really enjoyed a 4night stay here. Despite rainy days we enjoyed relaxing in the condo and had plenty of room to do what ever each of us wanted to do if it was play games, or do puzzles, read a book, or watch a movie, or even take a nap. Condo was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked. When we arrived the rental even had bottled waters in the fridge and MI cherry republic snacks, chocolates for our family to enjoy which my family loved. They even had some toiletry items there if we had forgotten something. Very well decorated beach house theme and updated inside. It was nice having 2 full bathrooms. The condo complex was very quiet even with a unit next to the stairs. The location was a short drive to surrounding towns such Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cross Village, Mackinaw City during our stay. We didn’t get to really enjoy the lake and beach area next door like we would have liked because of the weather, but had a very nice view of the lake through the big windows in the condo. My young son enjoyed walking on the dock to pretend he was fishing w his toy fishing pole. The condo is a short drive to the Petoskey state park which has a beautiful beach to visit. The owners were very easy to work with. They responded quickly to any questions prior to booking and once we arrived they responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. When we couldn’t get logged onto the Wifi the owner was willing to come personally to get that working for our family which we greatly appreciated! The ext door locks are keyless which were little tricky to make sure that they were locked properly but once we figured out what to do we didn’t have any further issues with it. Would prefer in unit washer/dryer rather then coin laundry in the complex but we made it work during our stay. One suggestion since having a 3/4 yr old the exterior door doesn’t have an additional deadbolt or safety chain/bar like a hotel has, so the door was easily opened by my little one from the inside whenever he felt like going out on the walkway/balcony to look at the lake. So we had to make sure to keep an eye on him because he could easily get outside. We had a great experience with this condo and it’s owners. We would highly recommend renting it! Repeat stay

We have stayed in this unit several times and always enjoy our experience. Although the weather didn’t cooperate most days, my husband was able to fish a few times from the dock. The location is close to everywhere we want to visit. Although it is right off a highway, the complex feels very private and serene with a great view or the lake. We enjoyed a fantastic “light show” with thunder and lightning while snuggled up in front of the fireplace.

Great Northern Michigan Getaway

The condo was such an ideal location between petoskey, harbor springs and all the other fun adventures northern Michigan offers. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the hosts were very responsive, kind and generous. It was perfect for my husband, toddler and, I. The only downside for us were beds were not comfortable for us, however, that varies from person to person and may be very comfortable to others. Overall, it was a wonderful centrally located comfy cozy landing space that was peaceful and quiet.
