About this property

AUGUST AND SEPT Open - PICK ME- CHOOSE ME -LOVE ME

I am designed with renters in mind. I have a large open floor plan that allows for festive gatherings. My beautiful kitchen has plenty of counter tops and is fully equipped including a filtered water system that also goes to the freezer ice cubes. You will love my laminate floors. The Lazyboy sofa and 2 recliners are made for relaxing.

I am located on the back corner of the 5000 section (# 5701 ) where it is quite and perfect for children with bikes and roller blades. You will love my wraparound porch with a dining area and rocking chairs. I have a total of 4 TVs,one each in kitchen, living room, and in each of the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

You will find 1 bedroom and bath downstairs along with a large laundry room with washer and dryer. The downstairs bath has an over sized shower which is handicapped friendly.

The beautiful open staircase leads up to 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a bunk over a full with a trundle twin pull out.

The over 1 mile beach is the best on the East coast.

The outside shower has both hot and cold water and the patio area is designed with paving stones.

We have wireless high speed internet wireless right at this house. Best of all, a cart is included in the rental price. Read our reviews!!!. Please note that our beach house has all laminate floors and is very easy to clean. Cleaning supplies are provided.
Most people bring their own sheets, however I have them available for you to use providing you wash, dry and return them to the closet. Towels and paper product are not included .

Wonderful Home Away From Home

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this property over a long family weekend. The home is in a perfect, quiet, and peaceful corner of Ocean Lakes. The homeowner was helpful and willing to help us in anyway to enjoy our weekend. We will visit Ocean Lakes again, and when we do, we hope to be lucky enough to stay at this property.

Such a nice house!

We had a great time! The house was exactly as described, large kitchen, plenty of space! The front porch was our favorite spot! The only complaint I could even half way think of would be that the beds weren’t the most comfortable, but no bed is like sleeping in your own!

Loved our stay!

This property was perfect for our large family. We had quite the crew... husband, wife, MILx2, a 4 year old, 2.5 year old, 1.5 year old, and a 2 month old. This was our first time visiting Ocean Lakes and we were so impressed. The house fit the whole family comfortably. The property was clean, just a short ride to the beach on golf cart, and on the quiet side of ocean lakes. The porch was probably my favorite part bc my kids want to be outside 24/7 so when we were at the house most of our time was spent on the porch. The golf cart was also such a nice bonus...my kids were obsessed. I would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it to family and friends.

Great stay!

We loved staying here! The house was very comfortable and in a great location. It was a great place for our family of 3. The only reason I gave cleanliness 4 stars is because I had to mop the floors when we got there due to our feet getting dirty just by walking around. There was also no toaster and where the toaster should be, there were lots of crumbs in the cabinet. Even with those tiny issues, we would definitely stay here again. Camille was great and very easy to communicate with. Plus, having a golf cart come with the house was awesome!

My intention in this honest review is not to shame the owner but to bring awareness to others who may choose housing based on past cleaning reviews. I truly believe the owner has the best intentions and has put a lot of thought into the home. However, we had several major issues with the cleanliness of this property. Maybe it was just an off week for our stay, but honestly, the house needs a major deep clean. There is dust everywhere, trash under the beds, clogged showers, sticky spots all over the floor, etc. I spent the first day of our vacation vacuuming and mopping, washing bedding, etc, because of the amount of sand and dust present, even on the beds. Even though there were aspects of the house that did not meet expectations and left us disappointed, we had beautiful weather and an amazing time at the beach. We did appreciate the included golf cart, spacious kitchen, and porch area. Best of luck to the host and future visitors, but unfortunately, I doubt we will stay here again.

Beautiful house

Very beautiful house and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing was that the cleaning service did not dust or mop well and my son struggled all week with his allergies.

Wonderful family trip

My family, my sister and BIL and my father came to our favorite campground. The house had plenty of room for everyone and was on a nice quiet part of the campground. Everyone had a great time.

Plenty of room and loved the open kitchen and living room! Loved all the hooks in bathroom to hang towels and nice big washer and dryer! The owner was very good to deal with and responded quickly if you needed anything!

Spacious home and very responsive host

We really enjoyed our stay - the home is spacious and had everything we needed. Our host was very responsive and helpful to the few questions we had. We really enjoyed the covered porch as well. The home was not as quiet as we expected, since it is located on a corner, and due to the group that happened to be staying across the street that week. Overall had a great time - would recommend!

Nice house in quiet area

We had such a great time. We have stayed at numerous Ocean Lakes properties and this is our favorite one. It’s tucked away in the quiet area of the park. The included golf cart was great. The house is very clean and the owner is nice and easy to deal with. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Will Stay Everytime!

The house was amazing. Everything was just as shown. Location was perfect. My kids were able to get out and ride their scooters with practically no traffic. Proximity to the beach was nice! Golf cart made exploring the property a nice adventure! Camille was extremely nice. Neighbors were also very friendly!

Halloween weekend visit

House was very clean and very well taken care of. We booked at the last minute for the weekend and Camille reached out to me very quickly with the information I needed for check-in. The house is in a great location, low traffic and very quiet. We will definitely be staying here again in the future if the home is available.

My husband and I are retired teachers in New York State. We have been camping at Ocean Lakes since 1972 at Easter vacation with our 4 children. Our children are grown and we now have 8 grand-children. We decided to buy a tiny place after HUGO and we kept it 10 years until we could afford our dream house. In 2001, we tore it down, and built the home that is there now. Sharing it with others is a pleasure and it also enables us to own it. Thank you in advance for thinking about using it.

We kept exploring where the best beach is in the East. We could not find a more perfect family beach than Myrtle Beach. In particular, Ocean Lakes is safe, clean and family oriented.
