Chestnut Hill Farm is a unique property with 53 acres including beautiful barns, a pond, pastures, 3 horses, gardens and hiking trails. It has a creek running through it with a swimming hole which is perfect for summer cool downs. Nature abounds with wildlife and gardens that create a bucolic atmosphere. The charming towns of Woodstock and Saugerties are nearby.

This apartment is part of a larger property that is a separate VRBO rental, but which is never rented separately when the farmhouse has a guest. There is total privacy on the property for each booking. This apartment was built as an in law apartment attached to the side of an historic 1942 farmhouse that I fell in love with. The creek with swimming hole, pond and hiking trails as well as the beauty of the barns seduced me to purchase this farm. Having travelled the world, I have not found a more beautiful place to reside than here.

This property has beautiful old barns, an historic 4 bedroom farmhouse, a pond, a creek to swim and fish in, hiking trails and the wonderful towns of Woodstock and Saugerties nearby. It is delightful year round as it is close to ski resorts for winter getaways, great swimming and fishing in the summer, magnificent colors in the fall, and beautiful flowers and weather in the spring.
