Welcome to Lakeview Lodge! This beautiful 4 BR, 3Bath cabin with views of Carters Lake, only 4 miles from Woodring Branch boat ramp makes for an ideal cabin to enjoy some quality time in the mountains or on the lake. Boat rentals are also available at Carters Lake marina. This home is located in an upscale gated development just 12 miles west of quaint downtown Ellijay, where you'll find excellent shopping, restaurants, and vineyards. Historic Blue Ridge, with its scenic railway, is only 45 min (35 mi) away.
At the Lakeview Lodge on the main level you'll find the great room with a stunning gas log fireplace, 2 flat screen TV's, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and breakfast bar. There is a queen bedroom with door leading out to a large covered porch and a full bath on this level. Breathe in fresh mountain air while relaxing on the porch swing anticipating the appearance of some abundant wildlife that call this area home.
On the upper level you will find the king master bedroom with it's own private balcony, a master bath with double vanities and a walk in shower. There is a very spacious loft with a sitting area, the perfect place to relax and read a good book as well as a day bed for additional sleeping.
The terrace level provides 2 more bedrooms, 1 queen with a crib and another with bunk bed. Both bedrooms have doors leading out to the terrace patio with fire pit and horseshoes.
The circular driveway in front is perfect for bringing your boat.

Awesome experience, well stocked, sounds travel

We had a fantastic time. The place was very nice, clean, well-organized. The place is very well stocked: kitchen, pillows, blankets, linens, we had everything we needed. Helpful labels and instructions, good communication, ver responsive owner. One thing to be aware of: due to the way the cabin is constructed, there's very little sound dampening. One room's floor is another room's ceiling and sound travels easily throughout the structure. You'll have a better time if your group is on the same sleep/wake schedule, and even then, the light sleepers in the group should probably pack ear plugs.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay! It was clean and ready for our late arrival. Plenty of space. There were 6 of us, and we each had our own floor and bathroom. No crowding! Great room/kitchen was perfect for us to gather. It has beautiful views of the mountains, trees, and lake in the distance. We had plenty of wildlife around, especially turkeys! It was a peaceful getaway with family. Jack was in contact each day to make sure all was well, which was much appreciated! Would stay here again, for sure!

Quick Rafting and Hiking Trip

We made a quick trip to the mountains and needed a place for just one night. The family was very happy to find the place so clean and ready as we got in late. It was super easy to sort out how to operate everything and enjoy the spacious cabin. We will be back!

I purchased the Lakeview Lodge new in 2001 and over the years did several upgrades over the years including finishing the lower level basement, adding a wraparound porch, new granite countertops, new faucets, fixtures, etc. Its previously been with an outside management company but I've now decided to do it on my own

This property offers spectacular view. Its not your typical cabin hidden in a secluded dense woods. Its located on a crest that offers a long range panoramic view of the lake in the foreground and mountains in the background.
