We had a large group that stayed 2 nights for my son's Wedding. Very nice place, clean, lots linens which was helpful. Only downfall was there was no heat and the fireplace wasnt working. But we managed and had a great stay.

Cottage 43 is a perfect place to stay to enjoy time at Taylorsville Lake. Great location near the marina and just minutes to restaurants and stores. The cottage has everything you might need for cooking meals for a group, comfortable furnishings in all rooms and even an extra a/c unit in the kitchen which was terrific to have during the extreme heat that occurred during our stay. Nicely decorated, a back deck with privacy from other cottages, ample parking, great WiFi- honestly no complaints at all with our stay. We’ll happily choose it again for our next trip to Taylorsville!

Was an easy access & experience, great first a relaxing long weekend , be a great place for fall colors. Not sure if a VRBO thing but seems the cleaning fees did not seem to be included in the "total stay cost", but that's on me for not confirming/paying attention in the check-out process .

Excellent lake getaway

The property was super clean, well stocked and the owner was super responsive with all inquiries. The location was absolutely gorgeous and we had a wonderful weekend at the lake.

Bourbon Trip

This is the best location for a multi leg bourbon trip. The stop is only about 35 minutes from nearly every major spot on the trail, so it makes getting around very easy. The house is large and inviting, and we had no issues.

Wonderful location for a family get together

Kitchen was well equipped. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths! Hot tub available, although not used. Would definitely stay again.

Just what we needed!

We stayed here for our trip to the Kentucky Derby. It was about a 40 minute ride to Churchill Downs but worked out great! Not really much traffic to and from and much more reasonable price than staying in Louisville that weekend.

Quiet place to relax

Stayed for a few days and enjoyed how quiet the resort area is/was. Home was nicely furnished and stocked with things like shampoo, soap, towels, etc. Kids enjoyed having their own room, and the pool at the end of the street. Was nice to get away from all types of noise and just relax!

Wonderful Getaway

Everything was as described. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The owner was very responsive and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. We love the area for hiking and enjoy that it’s close to bourbon tours. We’ll definitely be back!

Bourbon Trail

This house served our needs very well as we explored the bourbon trail. You could have a few more cairns or cocktail glasses in the cupboards so that we could try our finds upon returning from our exploration. All in all a great house!

Christmas at the Lake

The area is very pretty. Walking distance to the lake. Cottage was decorated for and Christmas paperplates were left for us which was sweet. madaaadded.Mmmmpleasure.
