Upscale Riverfront Magnificent Views & Hot Tub In Sonoma County Wine Country

Great News.... We have installed a fully automated emergency back up generator. The Russian river area is notorious for power outages, even in the summer months, with the addition of this whole house generator your vacation will no longer be interupted by a PG&E service shut down.
This comfortable four bedroom/three bath house with its stunning views of the beautiful Russian River sleeps 8 and sits on the bank of the river. In the winter months you can enjoy the fireplace in the living room and also in the master bedroom. Note: (river access is limited during the winter months, Private dock is available from mid may through late October depending on river levels). Pack a picnic in the well-equipped kitchen and take the three kayaks down to the river for a paddle, or take a hike through the amazing redwood grove at Armstrong Woods state park, just a short 10 minute drive from the house. The incredible views of the Sonoma coast are a must see and only 25 minutes west on Hwy 116. The quaint town of Jenner offers visitors several dinning choices as well as stunning views of the mouth of the Russian River. After your busy day exploring the Russian River and it's many wineries come home and unwind in the hot tub. If you prefer to stay close to home Tennis rackets and balls are provided for your use at the community courts just down the street.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure that all trash is out of the house inclulding the bathrooms on your departure date.
Please wash two loads of towels on quick wash cycle no more than 9 at a time and leave in dryer and in washer.
Remember to hit the start button on the dishwasher before you leave the house, we will put the dishes.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
8 people allowed, a $50 per guest per night fee will be applied for any guests' over the limit of 8. Entrance and exit monitored by camera.
Dogs are not allowed on furnishings or to be left outside unattended.
No glass containers allowed in or around the hot tub, please use plastic glasses.

We had a great time at this beautiful property right on the Russian River. The two upper decks have fantastic views of the river valley, and we greatly enjoyed our last evening barbecuing on the upper deck and enjoying the views from the outside table. The kitchen has all of the utensils you need to fully enjoy the space. There were six of us, and everyone was very comfortable in our rooms. The hot tub was very nice—the first night we had incredible views of the stars from the hot tub. Lastly, several of us utilized the kayaks provided by the owners, and had a great time. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful house with us!

Great spot right on the river

Wonderful stay at the river! The house was incredibly clean with a thoughtfully stocked kitchen. The multiple decks were amazing. Perfect size for our party of 7, including kids and grandparents. And it was great to be right on the river with access to well maintained kayaks and river floats. We have stayed in the russian river area multiple times-- highly recommend this house!

Great stay, lovely home

This is our second stay at Riverfront. It’s definitely one of the nicest places to stay on the river. It is also well stocked with games, four kayaks, floaties, and life jackets. I highly recommend this property.

Good stay at Riverfront House

We stay on the Russian River annually & this house met all our needs. It's spacious, updated, well-provisioned & very clean. The location is quiet, not only the street, but across the river from a kayak landing zone, rather than other properties. The house rules may appear less welcoming for their length, but we found nothing unreasonable. Be aware of the requirement to not only run the dishwasher, but empty it before checking out, as well as a requirement to do two loads of laundry. We could have done without yet another reminder of the task list at 6 PM the day before our departure. But that doesn't detract from our hope to have a return stay next year!

Location, views, and the home’s comforts can’t be beat.

The only problem with this house is that you might not want to leave to explore the greater Guerneville surroundings. Probably one of the most nicely furnished vacation rentals that we have stayed in. All of the decks offer great views and really nice furniture for hanging out above the river. All of the amenities are fully functional… the barbecue, the Jacuzzi, etc. Communication with the property manager was seamless. It was kind of a perfect stay. We also really enjoyed walking the neighborhood.We will definitely try to book this house for our next trip to RR.

Best getaway spot!

Went here with a group of friends for the weekend and had such a magical, beautiful time. It was a little rainy and cold, and it didn't matter because the house was absolutely wonderful and being right on the river was so picturesque. We cooked a bunch and ate and relaxed, then warmed up at night in the hot tub. I loved all the thought that went into making this house feel welcoming, and the labels for where things were really helped us! Beds were comfy and everyone slept very comfortably. Charlie was an awesome, friendly host and was super easy to communicate with! We will most definitely be going back!!

Amazing Rive Escape

We went here with a group of friends and had the most amazing time! We will absolutely be going back. The house was really considered and had everything we needed. Also, can't beat being right on the water!

What a lovely place to stay!

The house is beautiful and we celebrated a birthday there, just 5 us. It was exactly what we wanted and I was so happy!! 5 of us stayed there comfortably and slept like babies in the comfy beds. The serene atmosphere was amazing. The owners/managers were so welcoming and wonderful. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Kids loved the kayaks and floaties. Adults loved the view and the hot tub. Great private dock on a peaceful calm section of the river. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen amenities. Minutes to Guerneville. We will definitely be back.

The MC Escher House

Beautiful house and location with space for gathering or quiet alone time. The series of stairs (reminiscent of the artist MC Escher) require guests to be in pretty good shape. Perhaps we left in better shape than we arrived!

Excellent riverfront house

We had a fantastic time staying at the house! 4 kayaks, lots of floaties, well stocked kitchen, and all around comfortable. There are a lot of stairs if this is a consideration for anyone but we were fine with the amount of stairs. Will be back!

Amazing Vacation home on the river

We had am amazing time on the river in this spacious vacation home. The house is better looking in person than in the pictures. We loved the provided kayaks and had fun in the jacuzzi We will definitely be back. Thank you Charlie fir your quick responses. Can’t wait to come again.

Quiet River Getaway!

The house was very nice and on a quiet street with a beautiful view of the river and hill covered in trees. We enjoyed taking day trips from the house and the pristine hot tub. Charlie was super responsive and easy to communicate with.

Magical Weekend

We were a group of 8 adults 60+ - all from the Bay Area -wanting to experience a relaxing "Staycation" in the Russian River area. This property was absolutely perfect for us. It is beautifully appointed and stocked in every room. There are 2 decks for dining and congregating, with the lower deck also having the hot tub. The home and the hot tub were spotlessly clean and so much thought has been given to assuring that the guests the best experience throughout. And - maybe best of all - water crafts that we used everyday! 4 kayaks and multiple inner tubes provided something for everyone! I would highly recommend this property with only one exception. There truly are a lot of stairs both inside and out, so if that is an issue, this would not be the best place. Otherwise, relax and enjoy!!

Very cool riverside house

Stayed for 4 nights. Awesome house right on river. Very cool decks built around a giant redwood tree. great kitchen. Nicely furnished. Main suite and another bedroom with direct access to a killer deck with hot tub and sitting area. Had 4 kayaks and life jackets. There is a floating dock for river access though definitely for kids, younger adults. There are a lot of stairs in this home. Layout a little funky but no problem for a vacation rental. HVAC very good. Top floor gets a little hot but lower levels stay cool. Lots of ceiling fans. Older less mobile folks will not be able to access the dock as need to navigate 5 or 6 flights of stairs and a somewhat rickety gangway. Communication and interaction with property managers excellent. A sofa leg was (previously) broken and a very friendly gentleman was sent out to fix it without a problem. Had all towels, soap, supplies needed. Internet access very good. Will keep on short list for our Russian River trip next summer!

Great house, poor experience

House was really great, big, stocked with everything you need beautiful view of the river. With that, I had a really terrible experience with the owner. I had reached out to the owner prior to renting the property to make sure the dock would be installed, he said it would be. When we arrived to the property the dock was sitting in the grass. Contacted the owner and his first response was sorry it was delivered without all parts - ok, I understand that, but would have loved to know ahead of time to 1. Level set expectations at the very least 2. Have been able to have the opportunity to book another place that had direct river access. We booked this house because it was on the river and had river access/dock - we could not access river at all. The owner did not offer any type of discount (or even a real apology) until I reached out a 2nd time to let him know how disappointed we were. He then offered us a minimal discount, I asked for more and he immediately turned hostile and told us we could leave immediately and get refunded die remaining days (2 of 3). He even said something along the lines of “on the vrbo page it says dock is not installed until mid-May” - like I was overreacting when In fact I had reached out to him BEFORE booking to ask about the dock because the listing said mid-May. He then had the audacity to tell me that I had booked the place with 4 people but had 8, which I had also reached out to him about right after booking and asked if it was ok, he said no problem 8 is max. Although we were uncomfortable after the interaction with the owner we decided to stay because at the end of the day we just all wanted to be together after not seeing each other for over a year. He tried to then charge us $50 for 2 beach towels (which we didn’t take, we don’t need to steal beach towels) and then $100 for essentially using his brand new grill, we cleaned per the instructions with a wire. We agreed to call it even since he was going to refund me $150 for the dock not being installed. Long review, house is great, owner not so much.
