Outside, were continuing to enhance the property while keeping its natural charm. Guests can enjoy a dedicated fire pit area where the creek meets the river, a seperate outdoor picnic area, Adirondack seating and simple landscaped areas designed to complement the wooded surroundings.

The cabin is a great place to disconnect, relax and enjoy time together but please note cell phone service is extremely limited in the area and wifi is provided at the property.

Linens and firewood are included in your stay.

We are continually working on thoughtful updates to the cabin so returning guest may notice something new each time they visit!

I love hosting because I get to give people something that can be hard to find these days: a little space to slow down, breathe, and let the stress of everyday life float away down the river.

I’m a busy mom of two teenage boys and a multi-business owner, so I know a thing or two about full days, never-ending to-do lists, and the occasional dumpster fire! I’m also a full-time chef at home, keeping two growing boys fed, so I truly appreciate the value of getting away somewhere you don’t have to rush.

That’s what I hope you feel the moment you settle into the cabin, a huge weight lifting off your shoulders. There’s something about being by the river that makes it easy to slow down and just be together.

Kids love exploring the riverbanks, while adults often find themselves grabbing a chair and sitting right in the river on warm summer days. Evenings are made for gathering around the firepit, roasting s’mores and hot dogs, telling stories, and enjoying the simple things.

Hosting gives me the chance to share a place that I genuinely love and hopefully give your family the same feeling it gives mine: a chance to pause, reconnect, and let the world drift away for a little while.

Why they chose this property

Book our cabin and you’ll see for yourself why we chose this location. It’s hard to put into words the feeling this place gives you until you’re here.

There’s something truly special about being tucked away in such a peaceful, remote setting, right on the river. The pace slows down, the noise fades away, and somehow the everyday stresses of life just don’t seem quite as important.

Over and over, our guests have described it as “a little slice of heaven,” and honestly, they couldn’t have said it better.

We chose this location because it’s more than just a beautiful place to stay. It’s a place where you can breathe a little deeper, reconnect with the people you love, and leave feeling refreshed. Come experience it for yourself, and you’ll understand exactly why we fell in love with it.

What makes this property unique

What makes our property special is its peaceful, remote setting right on the river. It’s a little slice of heaven where you can slow down, enjoy the sounds of nature, and truly get away from the everyday hustle.

The spacious back porch is the perfect place to sit with your morning coffee, enjoy an evening drink, or simply take in the peaceful river views. Inside, the wood-burning fireplace creates a cozy gathering spot, especially on cool evenings.

You’ll also find a warm and comfortable space designed for lingering, especially around the large kitchen table or island, which is perfect for puzzles, board games, family meals, or simply sitting together and enjoying good conversation.

It’s the kind of place where you can unplug, spend time together, and make memories without needing a packed itinerary. Come for the river, stay for the peace, and leave feeling refreshed.
