Solmate is a well-appointed, breathtaking beachfront condo located mid-island on beautiful Fort Myers Beach. This 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms third floor unit has been remodeled in February 2025 and is the perfect place for your family’s next vacation. The master bedroom features a king size bed with built in closet, nightstands, and 55" - 4K Smart HDTV. The second bedroom has queen size bed, built in closet, nightstands, and 65" - 4K Smart HDTV. The gourmet kitchen has gorgeous granite counter tops, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker, stove/oven, air fryer, instant pot, Keurig duo (pod and carafe) coffeemaker, and microwave. The living room is tastefully decorated with a full-size leather sofa sleeper, 2 leather recliners, 70" - 4K Smart HDTV, coffee and end tables, lamps, fireplace insert for those chilly winter nights. Dining room table sits 4. The lanai accommodates a comfortable patio set overlooking dramatic views of the Gulf of America. Solmate is a smoke free zone. Sorry, no pets allowed. Must be at least 23 years old to book this unit. One vehicle per unit is allowed. Sorry, no trailers, boats, RV, or motor homes are allowed on the property.
Condo amenities include heated pool, gas grill, on-site laundry facilities, and beach chairs.
Solmate is located directly across from Publix Supermarket making it very convenient to get your groceries. In the same plaza as Publix you will find Snook Bight Marina and Junkanoo. Solmate is situated 2.4 miles (10 minutes by car) from Times Square where you can find live entertainment, shops, restaurants, bars, and much more. Fort Myers Beach offers many outdoor activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, bike rentals, golf course, charter fishing, boat rentals, and miniature golf.

Places to explore:
Fort Myers Beach is nature lover’s paradise. With over 400 varieties of seashells, you can spend hours strolling up and down the beach hunting for the perfect souvenir. If you really want to feel one with nature Lovers Key State Park made the 10 Most Romantic Places in Florida according to Coastal Living and Travelers Magazine and it is short 3.8 mile drive from Solmate. If seclusion is your thing, then Sanibel and Captiva Islands are short drive away (14.2 miles). If you like gators and birds, the Bird Rookery Swamp is a great place to visit and only 33.3 miles away. Nature is not for everyone and if you prefer to get a little history during your vacation I recommend checking out the Edison Ford Museum in Fort Myers situated 16.5 miles from Solmate college sports, don’t forget to check out home games at Florida Gulf Coast University only 20.2 miles away.

The beach is lovely and the amenities are great! The location is amazing and close to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Having a grocery store directly across the street was a major plus! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about this rental! The attention to each detail was apparent, you can tell the owner really cares. Great location with Publix across the street and the gulf waves within reach. We had a wonderful time. Unit is done up so nicely and Luanda is very quick to answer any question you could possibly have. Pool is great with nice Webber grills (we grilled out multiple times while the kids had fun in the pool). Just a great family vacation!!!

Much Needed Getaway

This property was pretty perfect for our stay in Fort Myers Beach. We loved how clean and beautiful everything was. There was a lot of thought that went into making this condo comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. We were able to see dolphins every morning. We loved the location and the accommodations were new a clean. We truly enjoyed eating at Flippers On The Bay and highly recommend it. We rented jet skis just down the beach and the water was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

From the moment we got to this beautiful home away from home is was perfect! Everything you need is right at your finger tips. We were worried we would need to buy beach stuff, but we’re so happy to find out everything we needed for our days at the beach we’re already at the condo; chairs, beach toys, umbrella, and even a cooler! Such a great experience and can’t recommend more!

Birthday weekend

I had the best birthday weekend. As a teacher and testing season just ending, I wanted to relax for my birthday. The condo was super clean and very nice inside. Publix was across the street and the ocean was a short distance from the condo. The area was peaceful and not busy. Beautiful sunsets to watch from the balcony or from the beach. I would definitely rent here again.

This property is amazing. Communication is excellent and instant. Location is perfect, on the beach. Access to beach chairs, palm trees which provide shade. Area very clean, pool restrooms clean. Rental itself could not be better. Very nicely decorated, remodeled/upgraded. Kitchen has everyrhing one could need even a Keurig. Very clean. Bedrooms amazing, beds very comfortable. Tvs in every room. We were very happy with our stay.

Amazing getaway...

After carefully reviewing over 300 local properties we made the right choice. Recently remodeled with impeccable taste, high end furniture and every appliance in the kitchen you made need this property made our 3 day 2020 break unforgettable relaxing and carefree!!!! The building is phenomenal directly on the ocean with your balcony facing the beach, surrounded by private homes on either side the privacy the beach offers is that of your own oasis. To boot Publix is across the street a local grocery staple that resolves all your eating and drinking needs. The most gracious of owners Luanda instantly returns texts to make your stay smoother. No COVID concerns as everything was spotless “new” and extremely clean!!!

What a Great Place

This place is everything you think it is by looking at the pictures. You have a perfect view of the the ocean and beach. You see dolphins and numerous birds just sitting out on the lanai. The house is well appointed of almost anything you need. The beach chairs, cooler, and towels are a nice touch for those of us to travel by plane. However, the best part of this property is the owner Luanda. She is very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had some stresses along the way after we booked with COVID concerns and then a potential hurricane headed our way on the days we were to arrive(thankfully it changed course). Through it all it was Luanda who kept us from worrying by promising to work with us regardless of what the situation was. Her motto to us was “we are all in this together”. I have heard of horror stories from other VRBO renters about uncaring owners, obviously not the case with Luanda. She has assured that we will be checking out her properties first if in the area again. We will be back!! Joe and Sherri

Beautiful location with awesome view

The condo is the closest to the beach we’ve ever been on the gulf coast. The location is nice and away from the busy part of town. Traffic is bad getting to town, so leave early if you have any reservations! It comes fully equipped with everything you need (we bought a higher height chair since the others are harder for one of us who has trouble getting out of the lower chairs, which we left there). We do have one major suggestion. There needs to be more than 6 bath towel & beach towels since they don’t dry quickly, and we don’t like to do laundry on vacation! The only complaints we had was it didn’t appear the floors were swept before we arrived (hair & sand on them) & there is way too many knick knacks on all the furniture, so no room for guests belongings. The coffee table is totally unnecessary as there are end tables & recliners with cup holders, and it’s a pain to move to it to use the sofa sleeper. Makes the room feel very cramped. We also got blamed for the broken garbage disposal, which didn’t work when we arrived. However, we had a great time and would definitely rent at Seaside again.

Nice but not glorious!

Condo is nice with a great location! Advertised as “glorious” condo. Here’s why we wouldn’t classify it that way: *Master bathroom sink clogged *Large round shower head in guest bedroom useless *Ice maker never turned off when full and no way to manually turn it off *No dimmers on any of the lights in the entire condo. It’s either way to bright or off. Non LED lights on dimmers would be much better *Light above stovetop is burned out *All drawer pulls on the kitchen cabinets are loose and floppy *No Kleenex tissue in either of the built in dispensers in either bathroom *Only one garbage bag supplied upon check in *Beach chairs in disheveled utility room were full of sand and seashells *No bar soap anywhere in condo…only some “swill” left in 1 liquid soap dispenser *Grill area had 4 gas grills…one was totally inoperable and the other three were virtually useless because the gas supply tubes under the grates were so rusted it provided very little and uneven heat *Smoke alarm in kitchen constantly went off whenever oven was in use…nothing smoking So….certainly not glorious. We elected not to contact the owner/manager during our 10 night stay because she should have been aware of everything on this list and dealt with it before we checked in. We rented from her once before in a sister condo she owns and that was glorious! Not this time!

Excellent Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our time at the beach condo immensely. It is the little things that make a difference between a good vacation and a great vacation, all the details that this condo had to offer had been thought of and made it quickly feel like home. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and looked forward to the sunsets. The sand at the beach was soft and velvety. The water at the beach was clear with a sandy bottom and gentle waves. Many nice seafood beach restaurants in the area. We would love to go back to this location again.

Why they chose this property

Solmate is located at Seaside Resort in Fort Myers Beach. I have vacationed at Seaside Condo since I was 18 years old with my parents and later with my own family. When the opportunity came to buy a vacation property, I knew it had to be at Seaside Condo. The building is located mid island, which means that it's close enough to Times Square (it's about 2.5 miles) while being far away enough that you are not in the middle of chaos on a daily basis. The beach is only a few steps away from the building, especially during high tide. You can actually hear the waves with the doors and windows closed. The fact that the building is located literately across from the supermarket is a great plus. Cross over and get your supplies whenever you need. There are many condos in FMB, but Solmate @ Seaside is a truly a special place. Also check out Luna Sea property # 1548440 and Sea La Vie #1665309
