Solmate is a well-appointed, breathtaking beachfront condo located mid-island on beautiful Fort Myers Beach. This 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms third floor unit has been remodeled in February 2025 and is the perfect place for your family’s next vacation. The master bedroom features a king size bed with built in closet, nightstands, and 55" - 4K Smart HDTV. The second bedroom has queen size bed, built in closet, nightstands, and 65" - 4K Smart HDTV. The gourmet kitchen has gorgeous granite counter tops, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker, stove/oven, air fryer, instant pot, Keurig duo (pod and carafe) coffeemaker, and microwave. The living room is tastefully decorated with a full-size leather sofa sleeper, 2 leather recliners, 70" - 4K Smart HDTV, coffee and end tables, lamps, fireplace insert for those chilly winter nights. Dining room table sits 4. The lanai accommodates a comfortable patio set overlooking dramatic views of the Gulf of America. Solmate is a smoke free zone. Sorry, no pets allowed. Must be at least 23 years old to book this unit. One vehicle per unit is allowed. Sorry, no trailers, boats, RV, or motor homes are allowed on the property.
Condo amenities include heated pool, gas grill, on-site laundry facilities, and beach chairs.
Solmate is located directly across from Publix Supermarket making it very convenient to get your groceries. In the same plaza as Publix you will find Snook Bight Marina and Junkanoo. Solmate is situated 2.4 miles (10 minutes by car) from Times Square where you can find live entertainment, shops, restaurants, bars, and much more. Fort Myers Beach offers many outdoor activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, bike rentals, golf course, charter fishing, boat rentals, and miniature golf.

Places to explore:
Fort Myers Beach is nature lover’s paradise. With over 400 varieties of seashells, you can spend hours strolling up and down the beach hunting for the perfect souvenir. If you really want to feel one with nature Lovers Key State Park made the 10 Most Romantic Places in Florida according to Coastal Living and Travelers Magazine and it is short 3.8 mile drive from Solmate. If seclusion is your thing, then Sanibel and Captiva Islands are short drive away (14.2 miles). If you like gators and birds, the Bird Rookery Swamp is a great place to visit and only 33.3 miles away. Nature is not for everyone and if you prefer to get a little history during your vacation I recommend checking out the Edison Ford Museum in Fort Myers situated 16.5 miles from Solmate college sports, don’t forget to check out home games at Florida Gulf Coast University only 20.2 miles away.

Amazing property! Beutiful, modern but very cozy apartment with ocean view, right on a beach. Host communication was bejond excellent - promptly answered all my questions and helped with figuring out appliances (I just did not know how to use it). Very large screened in balcony facing the ocean became my absolutely favorite spot!Thank you for the great vacation!

The beach was perfect, sunsets were awesome. The location is away from the crowded area of town and that is what we prefer. The condo was clean and everything went perfectly. Thank you.

Short but super sweet

We were only able to stay 3 nights, and it rained one day, but it was perfect!This place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The 3rd floor balcony is the perfect place to spend hours, any time of day. One morning there were tracks from a sea turtle that had laid eggs along the seawall. A neighbor said they had been collected and moved to a safer place because of the waterline there. The kitchen has every appliance you could want and it's all brand new too! Only issue was that I couldn't intuitively heat a cup in the microwave for 30 seconds, haha.Looking forward to staying here again. It's very nice!

Amazing!!

From the moment we got to this beautiful home away from home is was perfect! Everything you need is right at your finger tips. We were worried we would need to buy beach stuff, but we’re so happy to find out everything we needed for our days at the beach we’re already at the condo; chairs, beach toys, umbrella, and even a cooler! Such a great experience and can’t recommend more!

Excellent Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our time at the beach condo immensely. It is the little things that make a difference between a good vacation and a great vacation, all the details that this condo had to offer had been thought of and made it quickly feel like home. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and looked forward to the sunsets. The sand at the beach was soft and velvety. The water at the beach was clear with a sandy bottom and gentle waves. Many nice seafood beach restaurants in the area. We would love to go back to this location again.

What a great place. The location and view are magnificent and everything is so convenient. All you have to bring us yourself because Luanda thought of everything else. Immaculately clean and impeccably decorated. Loved this place!

As good as it gets!

This was our second year in row at Sol-mate. The view from this unit is outstanding and right on the beach. Not at all overcrowded like some areas. Low tide created a great opportunity to find shells, see crabs and rays, and take a sunset stroll. The condo is very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Luanda is a great host and responds quickly to any questions. First rate all the way!

Birthday getaway

This is our second time staying at Sol Mate. The location is great. The beach is a few feet away and you have Publix right across the street. Restaurants are less than 10 min away. The condo is really nice and updated. Owners are great to communicate with and we never had any issues. We will definitely be back.

Ocean front condo

The location of this condo was perfect. You are literally 30 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. The enclosed front patio overlooking the beach was probably the best feature. The condo was very clean. I think for the price the condo was definitely 5 stars out if 5. I talked to other tenants in the condo and they complained there's was out dated. I guess this is a good one. I did find the condo to be a little dark, not much natural light gets in. The mattresses were VERY firm. The pillows seemed very cheap. If your thinking your staying at a JW Marriott your not, you'll be disappointed with the overall amenities but if you want a really nice ocean front condo this is the place.

We loved SolMate!

Our stay at SolMate was amazing! We loved the beautiful decor, the spaces available to spread out such as the dining room, living room, and Lansi patio! Everything was updated, the beds comfortable, and there were extra perks such as beach chairs, air fryer, beach towels… Luanda was super quick on replies to any questions we had and very flexible, very friendly! We loved our stay!

Nice but not glorious!

Condo is nice with a great location! Advertised as “glorious” condo. Here’s why we wouldn’t classify it that way: *Master bathroom sink clogged *Large round shower head in guest bedroom useless *Ice maker never turned off when full and no way to manually turn it off *No dimmers on any of the lights in the entire condo. It’s either way to bright or off. Non LED lights on dimmers would be much better *Light above stovetop is burned out *All drawer pulls on the kitchen cabinets are loose and floppy *No Kleenex tissue in either of the built in dispensers in either bathroom *Only one garbage bag supplied upon check in *Beach chairs in disheveled utility room were full of sand and seashells *No bar soap anywhere in condo…only some “swill” left in 1 liquid soap dispenser *Grill area had 4 gas grills…one was totally inoperable and the other three were virtually useless because the gas supply tubes under the grates were so rusted it provided very little and uneven heat *Smoke alarm in kitchen constantly went off whenever oven was in use…nothing smoking So….certainly not glorious. We elected not to contact the owner/manager during our 10 night stay because she should have been aware of everything on this list and dealt with it before we checked in. We rented from her once before in a sister condo she owns and that was glorious! Not this time!

Why they chose this property

Solmate is located at Seaside Resort in Fort Myers Beach. I have vacationed at Seaside Condo since I was 18 years old with my parents and later with my own family. When the opportunity came to buy a vacation property, I knew it had to be at Seaside Condo. The building is located mid island, which means that it's close enough to Times Square (it's about 2.5 miles) while being far away enough that you are not in the middle of chaos on a daily basis. The beach is only a few steps away from the building, especially during high tide. You can actually hear the waves with the doors and windows closed. The fact that the building is located literately across from the supermarket is a great plus. Cross over and get your supplies whenever you need. There are many condos in FMB, but Solmate @ Seaside is a truly a special place. Also check out Luna Sea property # 1548440 and Sea La Vie #1665309
