About the host
Hosted by Leah Lafontaine
We are fortunate to be a third generation Island Family.
After the St. Lawrence Seaway was created, a Canadian Steamship Captain- W. Kingston- purchased 4 properties on the island.
Over the past decade, as the Grand children and Great grandchildren of Captain took other summer interests across Ontario, we were fortunate enough to acquire their properties and last summer, we purchased (from our dad’s childhood summer friend), quickly renovated (a work in progress), and started hosting in a place so close to our heart.
Together with my cousin Kathy and her family, we welcome you to our island. We hope that you make some memories that will last your lifetime, as ours have.

Why they chose this property
Our island is UNIQUE to say the least.
We boast beautiful sunrises through the North Channel (This narrow canal was built as a bypass for ships to navigate through while the St. Lawrence seaway was being created), and breathtaking sunsets overlooking the bay.
