Top notch quality and amenities

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in villa 14D. We found the three bedrooms to be perfect for our extended family with a little one. Location upstairs overlooking the pool was perfect. The tower swimming pools and Duke’s restaurant were a nice short stroll away. Already thinking about coming back next year. Awesome vacation property for the entire family!

FABULOUS!!!

It was a prime location, the villas were very neat, clean and spacious and the private pool was a great substitute to the beach. The food trucks right outside offered wonderful meals at affordable prices. All-in-all, a great experience

What an amazing property!

This was the perfect place to connect with our older teen grandchildren! We loved eating on the Lanai, playing in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and strolling along the beach at sunset! This “smart” home was equipped with everything we thought we needed and more. We would highly recommend and are hoping to come back!

An Incredible Maui Stay

This was an amazing property and the villa was nothing short of spectacular. It was clean, roomy, and comfy. The outdoor patio/living space was amazing as was the kitchen and bedrooms. Honua Kai itself was also great - felt like we were able to have some of the best parts of a hotel experience while also having our own rental property experience. 10/10

Luana Garden Villa 14D

This villa was a great choice for our family of 6 adults. It was a very spacious unit and clean. Kitchen was well appointed and all appliances and the tvs and internet worked well. Having easy access to the pool and hot tub in front of the lanai was fantastic. The beach is just a few minutes to walk to and restaurants and a grocery store are also a close walk. This villa is a great choice for families of all ages!

Highly recommended

What’s a beautiful home. Location gives you the feeling of staying in a large home but you get all the amenities of being in a resort. I have come to the islands dozens of times, this I would rent again. The small touches were a plus. Clean, modern and all the kitchen appliances you could need. Thank you for making this an incredible family trip.

Fantastic Stay with Great Amenities

We had a wonderful stay at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui! The rental was well-equipped with everything our family needed for a perfect beach day, including a boogie board, umbrella, and a wagon stored in the garage. It made our outings so convenient and enjoyable. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities provided. That said, we did encounter a couple of island visitors—a roach emerged from one of the locked rooms, and we found a large spider in the main area. This is likely due to the tropical environment, and it didn’t detract too much from our experience. Overall, our family had a fantastic time, and we’d love to return. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to enjoy Maui in comfort and style!

Although the condo was beautiful and very well stocked, the portable air-conditioning units were terrible! You want to relax on vacation and there was constant loud noise/humming throughout the entire condo. The living room/kitchen area never cooled below 75 degrees. For the price we paid I would not recommend this place whatsoever. I sent a message to the host and never even received a response.

Clean. new and private.

Place and location were great. Unit had everything we would have wanted. With both a roomy interior and exterior, the family never felt like they were tripping over each other. Close enough to the beach, groceries and other amenities that you could go at a moments notice, but far enough to afford privacy. Only complaint is that the property owners/managers are difficult to get a hold of. With COVID a concern, our e-mails went unanswered for weeks. We almost cancelled our booking as a result.

We show communications going back to August before you booked starting 8/30/21, you had a question about the cancellation policy with regards to covid travel restrictions, and you were answered in less than 2 hours. On 9/1/21 you inquired on our website if it is better to book directly or on VRBO, again you received a reply in less than 5 minutes. You booked on 10/7/21 and then sent your FINAL inquiry on 12/17 again asking about cancellation and refunds, and again we responded to you within 2 hours. Before your arrival, you were also sent six system-generated emails from Maui Westside Properties with info relating to your reservation, each with our phone contact displayed. We do our best to make sure we are always accessible to our guests for any questions or concerns. In rare cases, some guests may have their email servers filter out the communications mistaking it for spam. Perhaps this was the case. We'd love to have you back again in the future, but please remember we are also available by phone for any future questions or concerns. Mahalo

Beautiful modern decor

The condo was gorgeous and a great size for our party of 8. We loved the top-of-the-line appliances and the spacious lanai. Although it was not on the beach, it was nice to be in a quieter area of the resort.
