This amazing NEWER home (2020) has all new furnishings. Within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants, it boasts of outdoor living space with full deck and views of Kalamazoo Lake just across Lake Street. “Under the deck is custom-block patio with an under-deck roof”, No leaks during any rainstorm-- plus a TV with SONOS, two speakers to serve patio, natural-gas fire pit and Weber propane grill. Interior is all natural maple flooring, top quality cabinets with quartz tops, Gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances. All bathrooms have ceramic floors and showers. The Carriage house (above garage area attached to house by deck) has living area, separate bedroom, bath, mini kitchen with microwave and mini refrigerator. There is also a sleeper bed in second-story loft and in carriage house. Everything in this home is quality custom craftsmanship, with nothing held back. All TV’s in home equipped with SONOS. There is no comparison to it in the area.

Beautiful property with great access!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect for easy walking access to downtown. The fire pit was easy to use and provided a great ambiance each evening.

We stayed in this house 2 years ago too.. Check in was easy and smooth! Kitchen is fairly well equipped but could use some storage containers with lids. We really appreciated having an extra roll of paper towels, dish soap, and trash bags. The coffee nook is awesome!There is a stain on the couch that could use some cleaning. Love that we can use the garage for additional parking.

Amazing property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. The house was exactly as pictured - very clean, comfortable and the perfect location too. I’d highly recommend staying here if you have a big group and hope we can return in the future!

This house is a nice location as it's just a short walk to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of room for eight adults and four children. Checking in and out was very simple. We enjoyed our stay there

Perfect for our wedding weekend

The well-lit, classy, clean aesthetic of this house was perfect for getting ready for our wedding. Our family and friends had plenty of space to get ready and the short walk to down town made it an easy home base. Details like having copious kitchen utensils, garage space for storage, and lots of bathrooms with large counters. The house was super clean and the patio space was a gorgeous plus! Enjoyed Saugatuck Stay

Excellent experience. Everyone enjoyed staying at the home. The home is very well designed and decorated. We found the home to be clean which was very important to us. Top of the line appliances . Great outdoor space and plenty of parking. Also great location within walking distance of downtown. This was our first Vrbo rental and it was a great experience.

Family get together

Our family, 7 adults and 4 children ages 2 years to 2 months, had a fantastic stay. The house is large with plenty of room to gather, as well as space to retreat for rest. The house is in a quiet spot but just a few blocks to restaurants and bars in Saugatuck. The house was very clean and outfitted well. I would happily book again. Thank you!

Family vacation

We had our family vacation with 4 families and 14 people stay at Tom’s house and had a wonderful time. The house itself was fantastic and more than enough room for all of us. The additional living space over the garage was a huge bonus! It was extremely clean and beautiful inside. We spent a ton of time outside by the fire or on the patio (even when it rained we could sit in the covered area and still enjoy the outdoors. The location to downtown was a huge bonus as well. We would walk down to eat and shop every day. We would definitely stay at this location again if we were to come back to Saugatuck. Thank you Tom!

A Wonderful Stay!

Our family (8 adults, 4 kids ages 1-6) was recently lucky enough to enjoy a week-long stay at Lake Street and we could not have found a better place to stay! Not only did everyone have their own space (Grammie and Grandpa could hide in the Carriage House and watch The Crown, all by themselves!), there was also ample parking in the driveway and garage for our group. The location is amazing, the house is a short walk to Downtown Saugatuck, with its delightful shops, restaurants, and chain ferry, and a short drive to both Oval and Douglas Beaches. The house was clean, comfortable, full of all the necessities we could possibly need for the week. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a wonderful vacation! Two thumbs up, 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend, 5 stars. Thank you so much!

This is the second time we have rented this home. We absolutely love it!! Having two master bedrooms is a huge plus while vacationing with our adult children and grandchildren The location is great- easy walk into town and short drive to Oval Beach. Very clean and beautiful furnishings. We plan to come back again next summer.

We loved our stay at this property. The house is new with plenty of space and bathrooms. Great location just walking distance to downtown. We had an awesome stay and are considering coming back next year!Only small comment is that the bathrooms did not have basic toiletries like shampoo / soap which was a surprise!

Perfect home for family getaway

We come to Saugatuck every summer from Chicago. This year we traveled with eight adults and four children.This was the perfect home. Beautiful, clean and in the perfect location. The room with the bunkbeds made the trip for my kids!There was plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. The deck in between the home and the guest house is absolutely beautiful and a fun way to end the evening chatting. The downstairs yard was the perfect play place for my kids. TVs everywhere, so nobody had to miss the basketball games :-)I am a very picky traveler, and I highly, highly recommend this place!

Amazing home

This was a perfect house for our group! Bright, clean, spacious, and beautiful. It had everything we needed. Love the outdoor space as well. It’s a short walk into town so no worries about driving/parking. Communication with host was quick and helpful. I recommend this home and I would stay here again.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property due to its spectacular location, and then designed/built this home. Also because it's a very special and unique community with lots of history. I enjoy cycling from Saugatuck to Holland on the Bee-Line Trail when I stay in town.

What makes this property unique

Location, and comfortable living space. Easy walk (0.3 mile) to restaurants and shops on Butler St in town.
Short drive to Beach and downtown Douglas. Fennville, South Haven, and Holland all within a 25 minute car ride.
