About this property

Charming Cottage in a private residence with pool - Beaches walking distance

The owners settled here in 2021 after living more than 15 years in the Bay Area. Their goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Please watch the video for a complete description of the property.
The studio is about 25 m2 and features a separate bedroom, cooking and dining area - Enjoy the patio and your private front yard for outdoor dining. Barbecue provided. The pool is 9 x4 and right in front of your windows - It is accessible from 9 am until 6 pm. The owners and 2 other guest houses share the pool and garden.
A protected biking path nearby allows you to bike to Hyeres / Toulon and all beaches in about 20 minutes. You can park your car on site or use public transportation (Toulon Train station is 20 minutes by direct bus). A lot to explore in Provence outside of the beaches, old villages, markets and a fascinating museum about "debarquement de Provence" (the second D day).
Based on your interests, The host is a French teacher and cooking instructor - One on one classes can be organized upon request.

Overall, we had a really nice stay. Beatrice was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. In terms of the space itself, the bungalow was small but very functional. The bathroom is quite tight, but we were able to make it work. We enjoyed the pool and didn't mind sharing with the other guests. It was definitely helpful to have a car as it is a bit of a walk to get to the market, boulangerie, restaurants, etc.

Small but cosy

The home we rented was not very large, but it was more than adequate for our needs. The air conditioning was a necessity and worked very well. There was also a clean and large swimming pool, which was perfect for cooling off. We also enjoyed walking in the nearby villages, which were quite lovely. Beatrice is also very caring and helpful if you want to go and do an activity in the area. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Séjour au bungalow magot

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit bungalow, Ambiance cabane de surfer très sympa. La piscine et les hôtes au top! Nous n'avons croisé quasiment personne, du repos en toute intimité.Le seul bémol que je tiens quand même à signaler c'est au niveau du ménage, c'était très superficiel, je ne suis pas du tout maniaque et dans l'absolue je ne suis pas très regardante, mais compte tenu du montant facturé 60 pour 5 jours, j'aurais apprécié arriver dans une salle de bain propre sans les cheveux et poils des précédents locataires qui bouchent la douche... Je le signale pour que les hôtes en prenne conscience. Malgré ça, je recommande vivement la location, quitte à faire un état des lieux en arrivant si vous êtes très exigeant niveau ménage

Béatrice est très accueillante et agréable. On a l'impression d'arriver chez une amie. Disponible tout en étant discrète, elle a répondu à toutes nos demandes avec réactivité. Il ne manque rien dans l'hébergement et le parc est simplement magnifique avec une végétation luxuriante. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps.

Calme détente à 2 pas de Porquerolles et presqu'île de Giens
