Thank you for the review , that top room is great for children isnt it , like a den lol . We are so glad you had a lovely stay . Thank you claire and robin
What a wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage property. Everything was spotless and Claire and Robin had thought of everything you could need. I would recommend that you take a toilet roll with you as this is not supplied and no doubt you will all need to use the toilet when you arrive! Plenty of plug sockets for your gadgets, so no problem there. The stairs to the upper floor are quite steep and quirky and this level would be more suited for the younger generations. The property is very close to the beach and a short stroll to town centre. If you've never been to Weymouth before, you will love the soft golden sand, which just brushes off you. If you wish to go to Sealife and the Golden Sands sculptures, then there is a 'land train' which will take you from the Seafront to there at a cost of £1.50 per person. Nothing was too much trouble for both Claire and Robin and if you should encounter any problems (highly unlikely) then you can ring them anytime,........ Numbers provided in the property. I will definitely be returning but the next time it will be for 2 weeks as it is such a delightful property. 5* plus

We are so glad you had a lovely time, thank you for the fabulous review, not just of the property but of Weymouth itself! I have a HUGE apology to make re toilet roll! There should of been a new one in the bathroom ready for you but it was obviously an oversight by our cleaner to whom I have mentioned this to so it shouldn't happen again! We wouldn't intentionally leave guests without that essential item when they arrived, I am sorry!
We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Best wishes Claire and Robin

Great Location
The street is quite narrow, but I didn't have any problem parking. Great location so when parked didn't have to move the vehicle. Lovely house, plenty of room for 3 adults and dog.
Only negative would be the mattresses. Need to have thick toppers on as springs can be felt... We were there for a long weekend. Would stay again.

excellent - everything we needed.
Lovely week at Isambard cottage with my daughter and her 3 sons. Weather was good so we spent most of our time on the beach which was very near. Shops and eateries also close by. Cottage was very clean and suited our needs- great to have parking permits and we parked right outside. Fairly quiet apart from the seagulls! Have been coming to Weymouth for years - love it. So glad we found this place to stay.

Excellent location for town and beach.
Isambard Cottage is a cosy house close to the centre of town. It had most things we needed although we didn't do much cooking; there are so many places to eat nearby. The court yard was a little less well kept than the rest of the house so we only used it for the washing line. Occasional noises in the street late at night, and the seagulls, were a bit of a pain but we put up with it as this is to be expected in a seaside town. Really enjoyed our holiday and all the activities on offer close by.

Location, location, location
We loved our stay in Weymouth. The cottage is within walking distance of most sites and activities in Weymouth and there are many other cool sites within an hours drive. Additionally, the pub at the end of Bath street remains our favorite since arriving in the U.K. 2 weeks ago. Everything about the cottage was perfect for our family of 5 except it seems odd that toilet paper is not included. Also, we got lucky and had a few days when it was sunny and hot; however that meant the upper level bedroom was too hot for sleeping and the front bedroom with no ventilation was really hot as well. We adjusted by moving mattresses which worked ok.
