Great place to stay! Location and pictures in the ad are accurate. Owner communicated very well and had all the amenities you could want for a short (or long) stay. Would definitely like to come back!
This cottage was perfect for our stay in Prescott. It was one the cleanest and most comfortable VRBO's we've stayed in. Colleen was very pleasant, easy to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely wonderful ! Connie was amazing in every way ! The beautiful details of the home were charming and well appointed . Great place to be ! I can’t wait to go back !
My wife and I have been visiting Prescott and were up there for our 40th anniversary. The house was clean, and that was just what we expected. The kitchen was WAY MORE supplied than most "normal" VRBOs. Connie was accommodating and very helpful!
This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. Connie was very helpful checking in. She seemed like an old friend withing minutes of meeting her. The property is very well stocked and super clean. Comfortable beds and a private back patio. Would definitely stay here again.
This was one of the best houses we have stayed in and we have been using VRBO for over 25 years. Connie was a wonderful host and extremely helpful. This is a great location and walking distance to the square. We will definitely rent this again
Great location, adorable home, clean and comfy. Connie is a DOLL. She met us at the house to check in and gave us great recommendations. location is perfect. would definitely stay there again!!
Came to celebrate a birthday...The property is great, you don't need for a single thing! The host, Connie, is very responsive and helpful and the location is so close to downtown I swear I could hear the music on the courthouse lawn (which is great!). It is also close to hiking trails, you really can't beat the location...I will definitely book here again.
This property is conveniently located within walking distance to the town square, and also to hiking trails with gorgeous vistas. The home has been professionally and beautifully updated and decorated, very clean, well equipped in every way, and the owner was welcoming and responsive. We came to Prescott to visit family, and this home was very comfortable for hosting the occasional family dinner or movie night.
The cottage was exactly as described, plus we enjoyed the bonus of having access to the garage. The unit was extremely clean, well maintained and decorated. The location was great with access to downtown, local hiking and restaurants. Connie was a delight to visit with upon check-in with suggestions for our stay.
We really loved our stay here during the Christmas lighting in Prescott. It was a beautiful little house, with everything we needed! The 2 bedrooms had king beds and it's own bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. It was within walking distance of downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more! Great location and beautifully appointed in decor and amenities. Connie was wonderful to work with, always making sure our visit and the cottage exceeded our expectations. Her communication was always punctual and complete. Looking forward to our return visit to the cottage next year.
Came up to Prescott with family to visit friends in the area. Goodwin Cottage was perfect for 4 adults. Each couple had a lovely bedroom with king beds and adjoining baths. The cottage was beautifully renovated and so comfortable. It was just a short walk to the town square, so a perfect location. We will stay again when next in the area. Thanks so much, Connie!
4 of us ages 50+ escaped the Phoenix heat for a nice relaxing weekend at Connie’s place. Connie’s place was exactly as described and more. It was very clean, close to whiskey row, cozy and decorated with style. We wished could have stayed longer and hope to return again soon. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay. See you again in the near future.
Absolutely amazing little gem close to the downtown historic district and Whiskey Row! The property gives you access to a fenced in yard with a lovely patio, a garage and two bedrooms with their own bathrooms and king sized beds. The kitchen is well appointed with everything one could possibly need for cooking or baking. There is plenty of room to store your own supplies but the home does supply you with the basics such as spices, oils, sugar, coffee, tea, etc. We enjoyed a full dining area as well as some comfortable recliners in the living room which were such a treat after a long day of hiking. If you like live music and some two stepping, walk down to Whiskey Row. Many bars and restaurants had live music most nights. Matt’s was our favorite. The hostess was lovely and very responsive to any needs or questions we had. We had such a great time in Prescott and can’t wait to return.
We are a retired couple that travel every February to a different location for the month. We found the cottage to be one of the best of our fifteen years of doing so. The location was close to downtown restaurants and easy access to trails for walking. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking. We enjoyed Prescott and being able to take day trips to Sedona, Grand Canyon, and meeting friends in Phoenix. We even had a beautiful snow to enjoy! The home owner was very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this home and don’t miss visiting Watson Lake!
This darling cottage far surpassed my expectations. This two bedroom, two bath cozy cottage was perfect for my girl girlfriend and I to come up and see the Christmas parade and courthouse lighting. The cottage is impeccably clean with every amenity you could possibly imagine. Best of all, the town square is just three short blocks away and it’s a lovely walk through the charming neighborhood. Connie was a very gracious and accommodating host. I can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer to sit on the private patio in the back. I highly recommend this property.

About the host

I am a retired general contractor and designer . I lived in Phoenix for many years and couldn't wait to retire in Prescott. I have lived in the downtown historic area for 16 years and have loved every minute. The historic Town and historic neighborhoods are so great to live in . There are so many things going on all of the time. I have remodeled many historic bungalows in the original townsite, in fact I owned one of the very first homes built down town . It was built in 1883.
Why they chose this property
I loved this property because of its location to the Yavapai County Courthouse . It was such a cute property that needed some TLC, so we remodeled it and made it a beautiful addition to the downtown area. You will love the comfortable and inviting interiors and the front porch is wonderful!
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique is that it is light and bright and airy, very comfortable and very, very clean. I have owned an operated vacation rentals for 10 years now and have a very loyal repeat business. I hope you’ll come and give us a try!
