I spend 2 yrs on my property handcrafting this site to what it is today. My trials and tribulations have helped humble me. Keeping the simple life in mind was a dream of mine since moving to Colorado in 2004. I'm hoping your stay will allow you to feel what it was like to live back in the days where simplicity was a key factor in bring families closer together! With no one else surrounding you, the mountain views of the Sangres De Christo's will help you relax and unwind as you take a deep breathe what it was like to live in the Wild West! Kayaking at Lake DeWeese, galavanting around the Royal Gorge Bridge, or taking an amazing helicopter flight to bring some real adrenaline to your senses will have you coming back for more! You have Westcliffe, Salida, and Canon City within 40 miles of you for your entertaining purposes if you choose to branch out for you dining pleasures! The Arkansas River is known as one of the best rafting and fishing rivers of Colorado! Sit back and relax with a cold one as you and your family will enjoy a peaceful setting!
