Thanks for your kind words, Ben. Hope you can come back and stay longer.
The accommodations were very nice! For our group, it turned out not to have enough private bedrooms! Also, the toilets are VERY low and a bit difficult to use! However, the location was very good and the kitchen was well stocked!
We enjoyed the home, gardens and artwork immensely. There is plenty of seating inside and out, and the kitchen is very well stocked for any cooking plans you might have.
Beautiful home with amazing art, space and supplies nestled in the country along a river. Plenty of outdoor activities to be had along with firepit and tables that overlook the countryside. Comfy beds, sauna and fireplace to enjoy our weekend.

Denise and Peter
I felt so lucky to find this property. It was exactly what we were looking for in August 2026. We wanted to find a beautiful yard and comfortable and clean home for a very small (12 people) civil wedding ceremony. Peter, Denise and Dean went above and beyond to make our 4 days special, delicious, fun and so memorable. This home is quite unique, in many ways. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. And, if you're looking for something, and you can't find it...every cabinet and light switch throughout the house is labeled. It is so organized. Our daughter wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and their garden was bursting with colors, butterflies and the greenest grass. Peter crafted a delicious and elegant dinner and dessert. The bedrooms were large, beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had everything, including a sauna. I could go on and on. This house is perfect for small group or family gatherings. It's very cool, with amazing art, too!! Dean is a retired professor from ISU and is a very skilled and talented artist. It was fun to see all of the different styles throughout the house.
Thank you for opening your property to us. It was the perfect location for our chapter FFA officers to bond, develop leadership skills and plan activities for the upcoming year. There were plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for our large group. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, peaceful location and overall relaxing atmosphere. The artwork throughout the house was an absolute delight. So many beautiful and interesting pieces. Thank you again. Hoping to return in the future.
