This cozy first floor, NEWLY updated and stylishly decorated 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage guesthouse accommodates 8 guests with 2 queen, 1 bunk bed and a sleeper sofa. Perfect for one or two families to relax and enjoy all that North Myrtle Beach has to offer. The cottage features a multi-zone cooling/heating system for those hot southern days and cool winter nights. Wood look plank tile flooring throughout the open floor plan kitchen, living and dining room, as well as, NEW wood look tile plank flooring in each of the bedrooms. Kitchen with white shaker, soft close cabinets, subway tile backsplash, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, stove top, microwave, convection toaster oven, dishwasher, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker equipped with everything you could possibly need to assist you in preparing, serving and enjoying great meals with each other. Complimentary salt and pepper, spices, oil, sugar, trash bags, coffee filters, foil and plastic wrap, dishwasher detergent and cleaning supplies provided. The Salty Dog Cottage even provide dog treats for your best friends! The main living space opens into a charming Carolina room with expansive views of the marsh and common grass area featuring a Weber gas grill, gas fire pit, lounge chairs and deck area to enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise and cocktails at sunset. Whether you're looking to escape for beach time, or just to take some time, you will find The Salty Dog Cottage and the Grand Strand is the best place to vacation ensuring memories that will last a lifetime! • FOR THE BEACH - Small Ice Chest, 1 Tommy Bahama Beach Buggy with soft sided removable ice chest, 4 Tommy Bahama Backpack Beach Chairs, 1 Tommy Bahama Beach Umbrella, Boogie Boards, Skim boards, Beach Bocce Ball, Beach Paddle Ball, Sand Toys for use and an outside shower to rinse off after your day at the beach!

• FOR THE COTTAGE - 1 set of bed linen per bed and 1 set of bath towels per person are included during your stay. No beach towels are provided. Starter toilet paper and starter paper towels included. Shared Washer and Dryer conveniently located just outside your door.

• FOR YOUR SAFETY - Front and backyard ADT video motion cameras, ADT smoke detector/alarm system with control center emergency first response, Fire Extinguisher, Deadbolt, First Aid Kit, Exterior Lighting.

Kayak, Standup Paddle board or Jet Ski in and around the marsh. Kayak/Boat ramp are conveniently located on 53rd Ave North. Golf at one of the many locations along the Grand Strand. Shop Main Street or venture down the road to Barefoot Landing. Enjoy the best Intracoastal and oceanside dining within walking distance or a short drive away. COTTAGE POLICIES & PROCEDURES
• Mid-May-August . 7 night minimum/ - Saturday to Saturday .
Contact host for last minute bookings. Subject to availability and minimum night stay.
• September-Mid-May- 3 night minimum / Monthly Winter Rental Available
• Check in after 4pm - Check out before 10am
• Children allowed
•. No refund for flooding, storms, natural disasters or an Act of God, Traveler's Insurance recommended
• No smoking, electronic cigarettes or vaping allowed
• No parties/events
•. No Motorcycles, Trailers, RV’s or Boats
• Maximum number of guests 8
• The Cottage is Not Wheelchair Accessible
• Guests must register the final guest count prior to arrival.
• Minimum age Primary Renter 25 years of age AND must reside on the premises throughout the rental agreement or rental agreement will be terminated without refund. ATTENTION! The Salty Dog Cottage does not rent to high school graduates/students or Primary Renters booking for OR chaperoning high school graduates/students during High School Week or any other time throughout the year. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payments, deposits, and/or rental monies and the Primary Renter and guest(s) will not be permitted to check in/stay.
• Once your reservation is received a Vacation Rental Agreement will be sent. This agreement must be completed in its entirety and emailed directly to The Salty Dog Cottage along with a copy of the Primary Renter's official government photo ID within 24 hours to secure your reservation and before being given access to the property.
• 2 dogs of any size welcome with The Salty Dog Cottage approval and a non-refundable fee ($150) per dog. Once approved a Pet Addendum will be sent to read, complete and sign along with a request for your dog's up-to-date vaccination report. BREEDS NOT APPROVED due to insurance restrictions include: Pit Bull, American Bully, American Bulldog, Mastiff, Cane Corso, German Sheppard, Akita, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Great Dane, Siberian Husky, Rottweiler, Presa Canario, Wolf Hybrids and any mixed breed of the above mentioned dogs. Dogs MUST be crated when unattended. No exceptions will be accommodated.

We take great pride in our cottage guesthouse and want all families to enjoy their time at The Salty Dog Cottage as much as we do. The cottage guesthouse is very clean and in immaculate condition. It goes without saying that we request that you please treat our home with great care as if it were your own.
