Sunny deck, BBQ, hammock and swing. 3 mountain bikes, 2 tennis rackets, 2 boogie boards, golf clubs and guitar. Portacot, highchair, books and board games for rainy days.
10 mins walk to bus stop, nearest shop, takeaways, bottle shop and Onetangi forest and bird reserve. 12 mins walk to white silicon sand of Onetangi beach with crystal clear water.
Activities within 5 mins drive include; Onetangi beach, golf course, tennis courts, vineyards (including Stonyridge, Casita Miro, Peacock Sky, and Te Motu) and two bar/bistros on Onetangi beach (The Boathouse and Charlie Farley's).
A friendly and cosy bach ideal for romantic couples or small families wanting to experience something special and uniquely Waiheke, while being close enough to all the Island has to offer. Fitted with two heat pumps to make the bach cosy and warm in winter, cool in the summer.
The bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine floor. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep. There is a handrail on the stairs, but may not suit elderly or people with mobility difficulties.
A very small stream runs through the property, with a couple of fish in it. Please keep an eye on small children and NO fishing!
Amazing birdlife with tui, fantails, kaka, parrots, native wood pigeons, and morepork (native owls) calling at night. Praying mantis and stick insects are common, and glow worms can be seen at night within 2 minutes walk up the road.
The Onetangi bus from the Ferry takes you to within 10 mins walk of the bach. Get off at the Onetangi Z petrol station.

Two night minimum stay apart from summer high season and public holiday weekends (3 nights). Unless advised differently, check-in after 2.00 pm and check-out at 11.00 am. Public and School Holidays are peak rates. Linen and towels provided and no additional cleaning fee or bond. please bring own beach towels. Help yourself to tea, coffee, sugar, herbs and spices, cooking oil, jams and vegemite etc. Parking on the road is recommended. Bring torch if arriving after dark.
