Condo was listed as “on the beach” NOT TRUE!Couldn’t even use keyless entry pad to enter upon check-in because maid had locked the bottom door handle from the inside. Made attempts to contact owner which took hours, never was offered an extra night stay or any compensation for being unable to check-in until 4 hours afterwards, standing in the blowing rain! The furniture was old, stained and outdated! The balcony overlooked another building with view of AC units! Absolutely do not stay here if you have children! The swimming pool is between the condos, and a concrete drop off! On the other eastern side of the swimming pool, facing the ocean, there are white lounge chairs, however, there is a concrete drop off, that literally anyone person or child could fall off of, about a 6 foot drop onto the sand, which is very dangerous! There are no warning signs!! There are nicer condos with better safety precautions & views!Yes, we are local FL residents of Volusia County.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. Our complex is beachfront, though our building sits behind another, so the view and proximity differ from oceanfront units, and we understand that can feel misleading. We did confirm the check-in delay happened due to the door being locked from the inside, and we're taking steps to make sure that doesn't happen again. As for the furniture, we were recently at the property and didn't see any staining or damage, though we recognize it isn't brand new.

The property was beautiful well kept. Quiet, perfect. The pool was not cleaned often and it was very warm. Only thing I wish was that there was more essential items available. Other than that it was great and would stay here again!

Found the condo living room furnishing in a big need to be updated. Coverings on furniture were too dirty. Overall a good cleaning from top to bottom, rugs shampooed and the area rugs thrown out.Liked having washer & dryer in unit but the front load washer seal needs to be cleaned, very fowl smell.Balcony wasn’t clean and a mix of mismatched furnishing.Heated pool this time of year also.Next time I will be more selective. WouldHave to pay more but would get better accommodations.

Being a VRBO host myself, I was expecting something better. The description mentions a wooden deck and there is no wooden deck. The kitchen is so cramped it’s hard to get around in and couldn’t make a meal. The cabinets have labels but they don’t match what is in them. In the pictures it shows the complex sign “Southeaster” which confused me when I was looking for the complex since it’s not the one the condo is in. I was not provided wash cloths in upstairs bathroom, no laundry detergent, bathtub was dirty and must have had a leak since there was repair tape on bottom. The furniture is too much, too big for the size and out dated. The coffee set up is across the room, far away from kitchen. You don’t have a great view from balcony just see the back and roof of building in front of you. The balcony was filled with beach stuff with mixed match chairs & tables. The remotes to the tv’s were confusing and hard to use. Maybe they needed batteries. It was quiet in this location and close to others in our family but I wouldn’t stay there again.
