The property was delightful. Lovely bath to soak up the peaceful surroundings as well as a beautiful shower. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided with lots of helpful extras. We didn’t want to leave.

Picturesque Cottage

Alfred greeted us upon arrival. Lovely cottage overlooking a gorgeous landscape. All the amenities that we needed. Romantic bed, large bathroom, cozy kitchen and outdoor dining. An outdoor claw foot tub which we didn't get to use. Perfect getaway!

Romantic Cottage

We spent our last evening in New Zealand at the Rosebud Cottage as part of our honeymoon. We enjoyed chatting with Alfred but did not get to meet Jenny. The private outdoor bathtub was a bonus! The cottage was adorable, peaceful, and relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer, we’d love to go back.

Sweet little cottage

We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay at this adorable little cottage with lovely views of the countryside. We loved having breakfast out on the sunny deck and soaking in the alfresco tub. The bed was comfy and the large glass enclosed shower was delightful. A bouquet of fresh flowers greeted us. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for an enchanting stay. Jenny and Alfred are very warm and welcoming hosts.

A lovely little cottage

The property had a lot more character than the photos gave it justice for. There were a lot of nice little touches (eg fresh flowers, chocolates on the pillows, salts for the bath etc). The outdoor bath was a highlight. Lovely private location with a stunning view. We'd love to stay here again in the future!

Wanted: A 'lock down' escape from home!

My time poor partner and I needed a break away from home in Auckland Suburbia. We set out to find somewhere tranquil, private & away from the world for some quality to ourselves. Sighting this location online, it met our expections instantly. We sought only a moments peace, time alone and quiet that our hectic life has missed under lockdown. The moment we drove onto the property, we knew this location was perfect. From the decor to the fittings and finishes and the incredibly serene rural outlook around, this place oozes rest and relaxation - something we gained in spades in only one night. Highly, highly recommended!
