A great relaxing place for your family or friends holidaying together or visiting the beautiful Garden City of Christchurch. Has everything you need, truly a home away from home. 5 km to the City and yet located in a quiet, relaxing spot where native bell birds sing with morning joy. There are also a variety of contemporary Cafes and Restaurants situated in neighbouring suburbs and easy access to amenities like supermarkets, shops, all within a 3 km radius. Guests with children love the locality just an easy walk to the playground. We are also close to the beach (25 mins); Governors Bay (15 mins); Port Hills (11 mins); Pioneer Stadium (5 mins) and the Airport (25 mins). We have a very thorough cleaning protocol in place between guests and a 72 hour vacancy period between each guest stay. Finally, welcome to Christchurch, we wish you a lovely and memorable holiday.
Special conditions: Minimum two night stay. No smoking in the property. Guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy. A security deposit of $120 is taken prior to the stay and will be refunded after guests have left the property and the house has been checked by the caretaker.

The property on Holliss Avenue was great. It was beautifully warm on arrival. The views up and down the hillsides are awesome. It was well-equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. It was a really good size for the four of us and would comfortably suit six. Thank you!
Wanted to stay close to our daughter and her family, with space to enjoy, and getting to know the city. We’ve visited before but a hotel was where we stayed. I will definitely revisit and hopefully stay in this place/home again!

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and easy access to main roads and sites. It was roomy, basic, clean (except for kitchen floor not swept well) and well stocked!
We would've appreciated washcloths and a more professional instruction paper with WiFi info n password. Password was on the back of a small torn receipt. Would recommend for groups and families.
2 single bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms. I upstairs bathroom with shower over and 1 downstairs shower room.
Large, spacious living dining room upstairs with the most amazing views over Cashmere.
Balcony leading out of the dining room where you can sit and take in the view.
Easy drive to city centre or up into the hills. Or you can walk into the hills from the house. Very good bus service from bottom of the road. You could get to the port of Lyttleton or the city centre easily by bus.
House was clean enough to feel at home but not sparkling. Parking for 2 cars in the drive.
House was as described. Host had left the house warm and toasty when we arrived late at night. House accommodates a large family with ease. House was nice and clean and the beds were good. Kitchen was well equiped and milk was in the fridge. Would highly recommend it as a location central to town and the Port Hills.
We were very happy with our stay here, this home was ideally suited to our needs, great location, spacious with lots of bedrooms, a bathroom on each level. It felt like a home away from home.

The location was great, we found it very easy to get to all sides of Christchurch, plenty of shops etc nearby and there is a great park just down the road for the kids.

Only negative is the driveway which took a bit of getting used to but didn't cause any issues, would definitely reccomend this property, great value for money
