The place has everything we needed for a 2 night stay! It is really great for pet owners, however we did not bring ours. The beds we’re comfortable and we both slept really well.
This property was just what we expected. The beds were super comfortable and the location was quite. We had to cut our trip short but we did enjoy the time we had here. Sitting on the screen porch with our morning coffee was the best way to start the day.
We had a great stay! Cumberland Cottage was spic and span and had just about everything anyone could want…comfy beds, luxurious towels, huge fenced yard for the pups. There was even a Christmas tree. We’ll be back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for us. The house was well stocked with extra things that we might need. The back yard was very nice, even though it rained we enjoyed the screened in porch. Overall it was a great weekend and I would recommend this house.
The property was clean and as advertised. Easy access to the Interstates into Nashville and Opry Mills. The host was responsive to our inquiries. Overall, a positive experience.
Just outside the mainstream of Nashville, this home was great for our stay. It was just an hour to Lynchburg and not far from Nashville. The beds were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms was nice. Grocery and shopping was close. We would stay here again.
We had a home remodel and needed somewhere to live for a month & this house was absolutely perfect for us! Very clean and comfortable. LOVED the screened in back porch overlooking the large back yard. Neighborhood was nice & quiet. All appliances worked perfectly and we appreciated the amenities provided. It was a perfect stay and we highly recommend for anyone needing a home away from home.
It would have been nice to have all of us eat on non plastic plates. Only 4 glass plates, so either we had to use small salad plates or use plastic. Also, we had to clean all the pans before we used them.
Our company rented this home for a client of ours that was displaced from their home due to an insurance claim. No complaints form our client while they were there.
Kathleen was a great host. She was very responsive whenever we reached out and always helpful. We highly recommend Kathleen and this property for your next trip.
I work as a travel healthcare provider and was on call all weekend. This house was great for my family and pups to come down and spend some time with me. Great house, quiet, safe neighborhood with a huge fenced in backyard. We would definitely stay here again! The host had a nice coffee bar with a great assortment and even a dog bowl for the pups. Even though I was on call, and worked 13 hours it was perfect downtime and family space we needed.

It was okay ,but needs some work.
pro- location was good.
laundry pods were available,soap,shampoo etc
host responded promptly
beds were comfortable
cons- not many dishes
back porch steps are shaky
lots of cobwebs and window seals had not been clean
coffee bar creamer was very hard (couldnt use it)
kitchen dish sponge stinks
Not worth the price per night. I have paid less for beach and lake houses. Allot less.
It was a good option near to where we had to be for a short period, but glad to have an option to have an animal with us and not have to find a boarding option. A few creaky floors and doors (with a quick reno to parts of the house), but that isn't a dig so much as an observation. Regardless, it was a relatively easy stay, with the only hiccup we couldn't easily figure out the front door access...not the opening part, but the locking part. I wonder if the check-in process through the app could include a quick tidbit about that, without having to go to the folder inside the main entrance. All that to say, Tthanks for the stay!

The house had a bad moldy smell. There weren't enough dishes. We had to wash dishes after every meal. There was not one sharp knife in the house. The master bathroom had antsThe master bathroom's shower was set so high up, we couldn't shower in it.The roses (note: thorns) are growing over the sidewalk and porch. There were no dish towels. There were no blinds in the master bedroom, and too much light, making it difficult to sleep. The worst thing is that the driveway is not a driveway but a part of the yard with a strip of dirt/grass in the middle. It was very difficult to see the driveway as we came in past dark and no porch light was left on. Because of that, one of us ran over the culvert to the left of the driveway which had a huge portion of it sticking up. That resulted in a shredded tire!!!!
