The property was very cute and, while small, is very well laid-out to maximize space. A few things could have gone more smooth for us: we had to reach out to the host and ask for the home address & check in details as they weren’t sent prior to the check in time (thankfully we were still an hour away so there was time for the owner to reply and get us the info without delaying our trip). The floor was wet when we arrived and some helpful items not restocked (shampoo/conditioner, dish towels, face cloths). Most notably, the oven was not working, which was hugely frustrating as we had booked a vrbo (as opposed to a hotel) to be able to cook our assigned dishes for the family reunion we were attending. The owner was quick in their communication back and brought us shampoo & conditioner when we requested it. The owner was unfortunately unable to troubleshoot the oven for us, although said it would be looked at in the future. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the beds were comfortable. We would potentially come back, but would explicitly confirm the listing details are accurate in terms of a working oven (if needed as part of a future stay) and confirm right after checking in that the toiletry items were provided for a comfortable and smooth stay.

Samuel ensured we had all the necessary details for our stay via email, which made everything seamless. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with Keurig cups, tea, sugar, and powdered creamer. We appreciated the complimentary bottled water and eggs—such a nice touch. The large TV was great for relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and quiet. Street parking out front worked perfectly for the weekend.
