About this property

A rare example of the archetypal Kiwi crib or bach. Whilst recent maintenance and improvements have been done, it still proudly keeps its joinery, fixtures and fittings exactly the same as when the building was built in the 1930's. Literally oozing with character, it will transport you back to the holidays of your childhood. Relax and enjoy! Approx 7 minutes walk to Lake Rotoiti and approx 6 minutes walk to St. Arnaud Village Store. Also only 3 minutes walk to DOC visitor centre

This property relies on rain water for its water supply. As a result of this, please conserve water at all times, but especially during the dryer months.

Wonderful, character filled cottage full of lovely heritage items.

We had a lot of delighted exclamations "Gosh, I haven't seen one of these for decades". Pull switch lights, cosy living room with big comfy couches, open fire, well-equiped kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
