If you're looking to accommodate a big family or large group then our big House is perfect for you.

There's room for the whole family with a large lounge, separate dining area, kitchen and four bedrooms.

The views are exceptional with floor to ceiling windows in the lounge where you will see unobstructed views of Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkable Mountain Range, Cecil Peak and beyond. The lake view balcony is also a perfect place to relax and unwind.

This big house is an older style home where you will feel right at home; it's cosy, not precious, tidy and very comfortable. The location is ideal as it's close to town. The wood burner fire is lovely to relax around after a day exploring.

Since our recent reviews we have replaced the mattresses in the property, fixed the peeling paint & leak in the lounge room ensuring the house is tidy and comfortable

Beautiful multi-generational stay

Everyone (from the 12 year old to the 70 year olds) loved the house. Plenty of room for everyone, and walking distance to town and around) if you don't mind a hill! And the view - the view had us all captivated - from the day we arrived to the day we left. Thankyou.

Wow!

The views were amazing and it certainly supersedes the other things. The place itself wasn’t bad, just needs updating especially the kitchen. The driveway is a bit hard to get in and out of. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would I stay there again? I absolutely would.

Queenstown you blew our minds

We will be forever grateful we stayed at Earnslaw House. Firstly the views blew us away when we arrived, instant holiday mode. The house is not a polished diamond but a very comfortable tidy home. It is well depicted in the photos. The kitchen has lots of bits n bobs but some extra Pots n Pans for those that want to cook would be a blessing. The walk into town is a comfortable 15-20 minutes or a 5 minute drive. We definitely would stay here again and Queenstown is simply Amazing

Lovely place

We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful place, We were within walking distance to great restaurants and kids parks just right across, the unit is well equiped, spacious and spot clean.

The Views Are Amazing!

What this property lacks in modernity it makes up for in comfort, warmth and views. The property was undergoing some renovation work, so we had new carpet but no access to the garage as the contractors car was in storage, one of the bedroom had cupboard doors off the runners, and the laundry door handle kept falling off, but I assume this is all about to be sorted, the exhaust fan made a hell of a noise in the upstairs bathroom but the facilities were really good otherwise. The bedding configuration worked well for our group, the crockery and cutlery were more than adequate, and the coffee machine a gods send. The fire was greate, with plenty of wood, Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Comfy home with spectacular views!!

This is such a great little home - nice sized bedrooms and comfy beds!! Just breathtaking view- and well stocked with amenities- - soap, coffee, and lovely towels for everyone. Really easy walk to town - we just loved it and are landing to come back!

Family weekend away

Absolutely loved the views. House was warm & cozy. Beds were all comfortable. Sadly the lazy boy lounging sofa was was in a terrible state, the springs were sticking out all over making it very uncomfortable. We put a folded up duvet on it so we could sit down there. We didn't cook there but the kitchen was very well equipped, sadly tho the air fryer was quite mucky as was the oven. Both showers were fantastic. Location is great. We did enjoy having enough room for 8 people 2 of them being teenagers ( say no more 😍) Thanks for the nice bottle of wine 😍

Great view, lovely house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It sits on one of the best locations in queenstown overlooking the fantastic lake and alpines. Very spacious, fun and safe for families with young children. Landlord is very easy to communicate with and makes common sense. Highly recommended! Much better than our Auckland airbnb experience

Home away from home

Awesome house! Very big and easily accommodated 7 of us.

Awesome house! Very big and easily accommodated 7 of us. Walking distance to town (~15 mins) and AMAZING views. Was easily warmed by the fire also and the house retained the heat well (which was great for those 1-2 degree mornings). The only 2 slightly negative comments I have is that the house could do with a little TLC and the 5th bedroom isn't really a bedroom; it's a large windowless storage cupboard that fits some single beds in it (we simply moved one mattress into the dining room).

We had the most amazing holiday, the house was beyond perfect, the views indescribable !

Absolutely loved every minute of being in the house, we arrived and all trundled into the kitchen with our bags with our mouths open - the view was stupendous !! Vicky was fantastic, great contact, extremely helpful, giving 12 out of 10 for everything :-)

The view from the house is beyond worth the cost, views are stunning! Heating to house was great, never felt cold. Kitchen & living room were fantastic sizes, more than big enough for 12 people. Issues: It not suitable for 12. The 'upstairs room' is the attic. You can't stand up & have to climb up just under a metre to access the front door. Two of our guests slept in the living room. For a weeks stay, not very enjoyable. We could also only use one shower due to one not working.
